Holiday

Great hotel for budget staff fabulous clean and good value for money. Great location and breakfast ok staff very friendly and helpful right near beach. If you have a budget and want a cleaner smaller hotel then I would highly recommend My Dreams

Adequate budget option

If you are in a budget and you are only in Da Lat to sleep, then this hotel is an adequate option. If you can pay a few more coin, then stay somewhere else.
We spent 2 nights there and were out most of the day, so we were just there to sleep. It is on a very busy street and very close to hotels. 10 minutes away walking from the night Market and the lake.
Bathrooms look old and musty....that put me off. WiFi thought was very good. Anyway, it is an old building and I guess that Co. Es with its perks.... but again if your budget allows it stay in another place.

Acceptable choice, but keep looking for better hotel.

I was not happy with our recent stay. First we were given a room on the 4th floor, but it had a number 201. Very misleading. Thought we were on the second floor. Then, I was told I could move down to the 2nd floor on the second day. When I went to do so I was informed the room was rented to someone else. Fair enough. Then in the evening I opened the door nob just to see, and the room was vacant. So, I was lied to.
That left me with a negative feeling about the so-so hotel. There are a lot of choices in Dalat, so next time I will look for another hotel.

Not so central, not so honest

The hotel had no elevator and it was quite run down. The original room I was booked was mouldy and couldn't bear the smell. So they "up graded the room," and charged the extra later.
The location is not central. You have to walk to Da Lat night Market 15 to 20 min or traveller's area.
The owner of the hotel took a "deposit" for booking for a bus ticket, only to found out she took it for herself. FUTA (Phuong Tran Bus) respresentative called the owner and stated such shouldn't happened.
BE AWARE!!!, FUTA provides free pick up and drop off from and to your hotel free of charge and would never ask your hotel to hold deposit on their behalf. It was a scam!!!!
If you need to book your tour or bus, train, do it elsewhere.

Great, cheap stay

My Dream Hotel was undoubtedly one of the most welcoming and comfortable stays for us in SE Asia. Our room was spacious, comfortable, very clean and had all the extras I.e. fridge, kettle etc. Our room was cleaned daily too. The shower had great water pressure and was hot.
The breakfast was delicious and included in our room rate. Eggs, bread, jam, fruit platter and coffee. They also offered to help us to arrange tours, bike rental, bus tickets etc. It is well located and at very reasonable price. Highly recommend.
