"Hospitality and excellent service"
Stayed at the hotel during a business trip and were very satisfied with the accommodation. The comfortable conditions, cleanliness, pleasant atmosphere and attentive attitude of the staff allowed for a quiet rest after a busy working day.
I would like to thank Zhamoliddin's staff member for his hospitality, kindness and professional approach. He was always available to help and dealt with issues promptly.
Thank you for your hospitality and excellent service! On our next business trip, we'd love to stay here again.

Very good facilities, but service standards are far too inconsistent
I stayed at Mercure Tashkent South during a professional mission involving extensive travel across Uzbekistan. The hotel is well equipped, comfortable and conveniently located near the airport and Rustaveli Avenue, with many cafés, shops and restaurants nearby.
Unfortunately, service quality was very uneven and below what I would expect from an international business hotel. Arriving late from Samarkand on 23 August, we found Block A unattended, with no prior information that reception had effectively moved to Block B during cleaning. Once there, the receptionist insisted on immediate payment of the tourist tax rather than first allowing tired guests to settle in. The porter then disappeared after helping another guest, so we pushed the luggage trolley to our rooms ourselves. My room also had no bottled water.
Breakfast service was similarly disappointing: on several mornings staff asked for the room number before even saying good morning or smiling. The atmosphere sometimes felt more administrative than hospitable, almost like an old Soviet-style stolovaya.
The main issue is not the facilities but staff training, supervision and middle management, also noticeable at reception and around the gym, sauna and pool. In a highly competitive Tashkent hotel market, this urgently needs improvement. With stronger service standards and better management, this could otherwise be a very good hotel.

The place to stay in Tashkent for business
Great place to stay for business, convenient, super food , reatuarant and breakfast.

OK - but unfortunately nothing more.
Positive:
Huge rooms.
Top gym (one of the best hotel gyms we have ever been to).
Negative:
Location not great (no supermarkets or similar in the area).
Staff, with a few exceptions, not particularly friendly (unfortunately we experienced this more often on our round trip through Uzbekistan).
Breakfast buffet unfortunately had stale baked goods (we also experienced this more often on our round trip).
Communication very difficult due to a lack of English skills.
Conclusion: The hotel was fine for the price paid. However, I would choose a different hotel next time (e.g., Ateca – it had more charm).

Avoid.
We only stayed one night at this hotel, and fortunately so. Upon our arrival, we were informed that the air conditioning was not working, and indeed, we spent a dreadful night in the heat of Tashkent. The minimum would have been to inform us of this inconvenience in advance. Being a status member, that seemed like the bare minimum, as we would have quickly found an alternative solution. Not a word of apology, no commercial discount, nothing... Furthermore, the television did not work and the hot water pressure was a disaster. Keep moving. The hotel also benefits from a location that is anything but attractive. Slippery and dangerous floor.
