Superb stay
The owner speaks excellent English, and is extremely friendly & kind. For example I popped in around 9:30, said I knew it was far too early to check in, but asked if I could leave my bag. I was offered a free breakfast! I'd actually had breakfast, but I took some tea, and access to my room around 10:00, way before the official check in time.
Don't expect luxury - but I got a single room with excellent A/C and private facilities, a delicious breakfast, free tea or coffee when I wanted it, WiFi which worked well 95% of the time, access to an outdoor common area with fridge ... all for 164,000 Som/€13.10 per night. I stayed two nights.
