Perfect place

Everything was perfect!!
The Red Wind is a lovely, safe, clean and confortable place.
But the hotel is far from beaches, so you need a car or get a taxi (in my opinion it's expensive)
I truly recommend this hotel.

Very Big and Nice appartment

We Visited the Appartement in December - it is not next To the beach But within a Nice housing Area with large gardens and mansions. A very Nice and loaded Area! The House is very Nice with a large room and even larger bathroom! The Breakfast was freshly made / baked and fresh juice was Served! All in all very Nice and beautiful - we enjoyed the stay and will defenetly select the Same accomendation the next Time

Okay but we expected more

Stayed here for one night on a tour of Uruguay. A car is essental if staying here as it is a good distance from beaches, restaurants and other attractions. We had a room with an adjacent bathroom opposite the bedroom exclusively for our use. I think all the other rooms are fully ensuite.
Bedroom was of a good size. Comfortable bed with good quality fittings. bathroom also supplied with quality fittings and toiletries.
Breakfast was a disappointing affair. Consisting of no more than bread and jam, orange juice, pastries and coffee. For US$ 170 per night (other rooms being even more expensive), we would have expected a better selection including cold meats and cheeses, yoghurts to be provided as standard. This was the case with most other better value rooms booked on the trip.

Lovely B&B, with very attentive hosts.

Red Wind is a lovely, safe B&B whose owners appear to care deeply about the comfort and enjoyment of the people who stay there. The rooms are clean and comfortable with many amenities, including a refrigerator, microwave, dish ware, hair dryer, etc. The breakfast in simple with juice, coffee, fruit and home made pastries. They offered to provide sandwiches and a cooler for our trip to the beach and provided us with towels, umbrellas and chairs. Every time we returned to the home, they welcomed us and even walked to our car with umbrellas when it was raining. A car is required to stay in this B&B as it is quite a distance to La Barra, restaurants, the beach, Punta and other areas. I would highly recommend this lovely home with a relaxing pool area and welcoming staff.

Quiet homelike B & B in busy Punta del Este

The whole property speaks of being well cared for. The rooms and common areas are immaculately kept. The pool is a delight for both older folks and young children. The staff and the owner, who was there every day, tried very hard to meet all our needs and offered excellent advice. It was an excellent place for a family to stay in Punta del Este. One needs a car, though, as buses are not a good option up in this quiet residential neighborhood near the Cantegril Golf Course. I would stay there again.
