A great spot on earth with limitations

The farm is beautifully landscaped, the rooms are clean, but already a bit old. Stefan is a good host, tells a lot about his life in Uganda. Unfortunately, the tone of dealing with his employees is very down from above. All staff were very attentive and friendly. Specially ‘Good Luck’ inspired us with its hike over the farm.

A little piece of Eden

A beautifully-landscaped farm with excellent staff, and even better food. They make a fire each night, which is charming, and don't miss their pretzel rolls at breakfast. Super delicious!

Dreamlike oasis with German breakfast and family atmosphere

The Kluges Guest Farm was a stopover during our Uganda tour.
The complex is very large, spacious and exceptionally well maintained. Everything looks thoughtful, tidy and laid out with great attention to detail. The rooms are clean, well maintained and technically flawless – there were no complaints whatsoever. The self-sufficient concept is particularly noteworthy: The electricity is generated by solar energy, the farm operates largely independently and sustainably.
In the garden, fruits and vegetables are grown themselves, which are used directly in the kitchen. In addition, cattle and poultry belong to the farm. You can see that importance is attached to in-house production and quality.
Breakfast is a real highlight and stands out from the usual English breakfast of many lodges in Uganda. Instead of toast and beans, there is a typical German breakfast with homemade lye rolls, fresh bread, jam and salami – all made by ourselves. Quality and taste are excellent.
We spent the evening by the campfire together with Stefan, the operator. Over a glass of wine and beer, he talked about his life – openly, interestingly and personally. A very pleasant, authentic host.
The whole staff is friendly, attentive and courteous. The atmosphere is familiar, calm and relaxed.
Clear recommendation for anyone who is consciously looking for a high-quality, sustainable and personal stay on their Uganda trip.

Great place

We were part of a tour but they made us feel so looked after, the place is stunning and the service is amazing. The upgrade lodge was such a treat, thank you for making our honeymoon special!

Beautiful surroundings and top stay

We were here 3 nights and came to rest, it is in a nice area with very nicely kept gardens. The food and rooms are also very good here. There is also a small walking route where you can also encounter everything. The owner and staff are also very friendly and helpful.
