Fancy, beautiful, cheaper, a very beautiful swimming pool and wonderful view to the River giving beautiful sunset watching point

The source of the Nile Hotel has the section called "The Bridge club House". It is so beautiful with a beautiful view of the River Nile and a very big swimming pool. The Architecture is very fancy. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a peaceful yet cheap spot for sunset.

Not Worth Your Time or Money

We were gifted a honeymoon stay at this hotel, but unfortunately it seems the gift giver was misled. We arrived late at night after an exhausting 8-hour drive, hoping to finally rest. Instead, we were met with excessive noise, kids running up and down the corridors, babies crying, and people shouting.
The bathroom had visible stains, and overall the room quality felt low. The food was extremely bland and poorly prepared. At one point, someone walked past us blasting music from a speaker, and no staff member intervened.
After about an hour of trying to make the best of the situation, it became clear that a peaceful honeymoon stay was impossible. We spoke to reception, but there were no alternative rooms available. We requested a refund, as we couldn’t stay under those conditions.
To their credit, the hotel agreed to refund us the next day and even sent an apology letter, which we appreciated. However, if you’re looking for peace, comfort, and a relaxing experience, this is not the place to stay. Better to take your money elsewhere. But if you like chaos and misery, enjoy!

Poor noise management

Inability to control noise in the environment between guests. One group having noisy praise and worship session near other groups having conference workshops which require calm environment. Management failed to advise the group having noisy activities to tune it down.

Extremely disappointed

I was excited to try the pool of this hotel considering all the positive reviews not to mention that it hosts Watoto church Jinja. After a few moments spent with my family we had to face a few people who strut with the arrogance of someone that believes the world is their audience. My younger cousins were chased to put it nicely away from the middle pool all because the adults present felt like they needed a private area, as if we didn't all pay the same amount of money. Not to mention that the staff and management did nothing to help and instead fueled the already existing anger and failed to understand the situation. Telling us that the adults would do nasty things in the pools but the pool was visible to anyone in the vicinity. We went expecting decency from everyone because our money couldn't go to poor service and attitude. Also with the fact that a church was just next door. So rather, instead of "restricting" children even if they would be able to see anything from anywhere, restrict the adults from blatantly showcasing such heinous acts. In addition, one of the staff members continued to bad mouth my aunt to other customers infront of her children. Don't make up excuses for something that is completely wrong. I highly DO NOT recommend this area for anyone looking forward to a peaceful experience.
