Domi is cost-effective enough.

There are too many good points to compare with the price.
As of September 2024, it was very well equipped and relatively new and very clean for a dormitory that can stay for less than 1,000 yen even if 1USD = 142 yen. The location is also very advantageous with such proximity to Linnock Square.
Cheap and close to downtown, the noise is a concern, but the cafes that open on the inner garden side with windows also close at 10 p.m., so it's quiet at night. Both common spaces have double doors, which makes them soundproof. The bed is firm and doesn't sway, so you can sleep comfortably. Bring a small padlock as the drawer under the bed will be a large security box.
Now the elevators are working well, so don't worry about large luggage.
The kitchen and common space on the fourth floor are also spacious and relaxing, so there is active communication. There is a blackboard, so if you want to write, bring your own chalk.
The only regret is that the big fridge is quite full. Bring your own to a minimum.

Bed bugs in room 202

I stayed less than a night in room 202 and saw bed bugs and was bitten. I was refunded and moved to a new room so they responded quite positively however they should not be renting rooms with obvious infestation.

reception without smiling, rude and not hospitable, cleaning is not done every day or only take garbage from the basket, without wiping dust and floor.
zero noise insulation, lots of loud kids, washing machine not working ((expectation 10 - reality 1

Convenient and spotless

We stayed two nights at Dream Hostel for a very reasonable price. The hostel staff speak very good English and were very helpful. We booked a private double room, but were given a 6 bed dorm ourselves. Nonetheless, the room was spacious and very clean, as were the bathrooms.
The hostel also had a bar/restaurant attached but we didn’t use it.
Dream hostel is located in the Old Town, 5 minutes walk from the Rynok Square. It is ideally located for anyone looking to explore Lviv.
I would stay here again if I am ever in Lviv.

Good hostel in centre lviv

Great accessory for a holiday, the hostel pleasantly surprised me. Everything is clean, on the floor during the day a woman walks and cleans the showers and toilets. The staff is always friendly and smiling, helped and suggested where to go in Lviv
