Dreadful Place!

I had the misfortune of staying here for four nights and I’ve never been so glad to be packing up to leave! The rooms themselves, although tired and dated were large and clean. My first evening was spent waiting for a party to finish so I could finally get some sleep after my long journey. The restaurant is hardly worth being open. Every night there were less and less options and by the final night they couldn’t provide a single dessert. My main course was greasy and unappetising so I went to bed very hungry that night! The restaurant was empty most of the time and the staff amused themselves by turning up the radio to a poorly tuned 80s pop station. Not really the right ambience for a hotel restaurant. The service here is appalling and the staff do nothing to resolve issues. We had also been advised by colleagues to avoid walking in the local area so we were truly at the mercy of their hotel restaurant. If I had to stay at this hotel again I would never return to Kiev but I soon realised that the service and attitude I experienced here is not a true reflection of the Ukrainian people so I’m sure things will be far better elsewhere.

Avoid if you can ....

Stayed here for 4 nights. Don’t expect anything!
The restaurant is far from adequate. Food and drink choices limited with most unavailable. Final night there were no desserts at all! Breakfast ....basic .
We were advised not to go out after dark in the area as not perceived safe therefore eating was restricted to hotel.
Rooms .... dated.
Noisy party one night.
We understood when another resident advised us at dinner when they saw we were exasperated that this was “not a real hotel “ but another operation disguised as hotel. Therefore no point in complaining and wasting energy on doing so as the management don’t care.

Think Twice Before Booking

If you’re traveling as a couple or just one companion the price per night is ok. But if you have a third it is not worth it at all! You get a rollout bed that’s stiff as a board and if you’re over 5’7 forget it, your feet will hang over. They only give you one key because the key is to turn on the electricity in the room. You’re lucky if you have an English speaking front desk person since it’s difficult to ask for extra towels. You get free buffet breakfast during your stay, but don’t expect gourmet. The location is in a very safe quiet area and walking distance towards many hidden gem restaurants. It’s next to a large park, Park Natalka I believe, and you see the locals playing soccer, kids being kids or working out and see dogs running around with no leash which is ok cus they are close to their owners. You’re more likely better off in an air bnb nearby this area because you would pay about 1/4 of the daily rate.

Avoid!

Loud parties all night keeps you from sleeping, prostitution in room next door, awful breakfast, woman next door trying to break into our room and then into our bathroom to grab our 1 year old baby and the staff just laughing when we called reception...
Cheap and value for money room menu though.
Very clean! Cleaning staff excellent and friendly!

Very nice, bad brekfest

The hotel is small but with big rooms and very clean based near the river.you can walk a long the rivr and relax.
Breakfest is very very poor, it would have been smarter to say no breakfest than to serve what the are serving.
Overall nice and comftable arround 30 minitus drive with taxi to the city centre
