Super cozy and nice little hotel

Really nice little hotel close to transport and within walking distance of the Grand Bazar. However, I can recommend that you go straight down in front of the hotel, where there is a Big Bazar with nice and cheap men's clothes. It is clean and nice here. We bought our tours from the owner Leo and it can definitely be recommended. Really nice breakfast buffet. The only minus is the mattresses are too very very hard. This hotel can clearly be recommended as you get a lot for your money.

Very disappointing experience..

We booked this hotel to meet with our parents, because we live in different countries and now it’s difficult to visit them with grandchildren. My mom is 73 y.o., so I was choosing hotel with setting “available for disabled people”. Search provided me this hotel. I checked settings of room, which I selected: upper floors available by elevator. Photo if elevator is there as well. So I booked it and paid in advance. We came late in the evening, our flight was delayed. Children were tired. Receptionist Leo gave us key of our apartment. When we went upstairs, we figured out, that elevator doesn’t go to 7th floor. It goes up to the 6th floor. And there is a steep circular staircase upstairs. I helped mum to go up, but she couldn’t go down. The steps next to the railing were narrow, the stairs twisted and made her dizzy. Neighbour from the nearest room helped me to bring mom down. I came to Leo and explained the situation. He gave us another room, which was twice as little as our booked room on the ground floor. There was no space between bed and walls. We had to sleep together in one bed, though we were supposed to sleep in different beds in apartment, which I booked. I came to reception and ask another hotel worker to change our room, because we couldn’t sleep well together. It was long-awaited trip for us, we meet with the family so rarely. And we paid for another room. I checked our apartment description again. It was exactly room description, not hotel profile. So it wasn’t true. It wasn’t our fault and I expected/hoped, that our room will be changed. I checked booking site: there were available apartments that were cheaper than apartment on the 7th floor, of which we had to refuse because of stairs and mum’s health. But nobody was still going to change it. I sent a message to Leo. He promised to change it (see photo). Mum prepared things for moving to another room, we were waiting in the hotel til 2 p.m. as we agreed with Leo. And know what? When I came for the key, it occurred that they already gave the room to other people and it is not available anymore. It is difficult to describe my feelings. I felt guilty, because couldn’t provide better conditions for my mum. It was a long-waited trip and our family meeting. It was lie everywhere around. Leo was rude. Told me that it is profile of hotel, not room (though it is not true), didn’t allow to say, interrupted. Telling they have elevator (like it doesn’t matter that we can’t reach our floor with it). My mum was waiting with prepared things, but we didn’t get room again. I am genius 3 on booking, have more that 30 bookings in last several years, but I never faced it before. It was a big shame. I called booking, they called Leo, he lied them about our agreement about number :) Booking couldn’t help, as we have already registered in the hotel (but what had we to do on the late evening with little child? search for another hotel at night?). I asked for refund, but I think we couldn’t get anything from this hotel with its improper and hidden information and disrespectful attitude to customers and old people :( Now I sorted reviews for this hotel by score, and see that other customers encountered the same attitude and were deceived.

Bad experience ever.

Run, The pictures and the positive reviews are fake you have to pay the triple what you paid when you arrive if you want to see the room in the pictures or you can get a room like a prison that fit just for a bed. The bed is not more usuable just if you want to practice muai tai. And you if you complaint the receptionist Leo will cancel your booking and tell you he will refund but it s not real also like the postive reviews.

VERY CLEAN CLOSE TO EVERYWHERE, KAVALTI IS PERFECT

I checked in to this hotel on 10.10.2023, and checked out on 19.10.2023. They changed my check-in time to an earlier time. On the first day, they offered breakfast, fruit, milk and cake to my children. During my 9-day holiday, they offered free airport transfer and Turkish delight and baklava for the return. There are many restaurants in Istanbul. I stayed at the hotel, I have never seen a hotel with such good location and cleanliness, I found a place for my visit next month, although it was difficult, I made a reservation, thank you Maranda Hotel

Run away!!!!!!!

Run away!!!! They are thieves!!!! I booked for 44 people and made a transfer of 1000 euros. I asked to remove a room because two people had withdrawn, the manager refused, he asked me to pay the full price! So I asked for a refund to book elsewhere, he refused! In addition, he is a scammer, he wants to sell you extras at exorbitant prices at all costs and once the deposit is received, he completely changes his attitude. It becomes unpleasant. Run away while you can! Oh yes, they also make you believe that the stolen money will be paid to orphans. The joke.
