Warm Hospitality & Perfect Location

As two Australian sisters travelling through Türkiye, we can honestly say our stay at Merih Butik Hotel and time spent at their beautiful sister hotel, Kavala Hotel, became one of the highlights of our trip.
The hospitality from the hosts was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, comfortable and genuinely cared for. Nothing was too much trouble, and the warmth they showed us made us feel completely at home.
The breakfasts each morning were so fresh and delicious, with everything you could want, and the coffee was absolutely perfect. Our room was spotless, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the whole atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and inviting.
We also loved spending time at Kavala Hotel enjoying the sparkling pool — such a beautiful place to unwind after exploring Bodrum.
Both hotels are in the perfect location, within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the waterfront, making everything so easy and enjoyable. Most importantly, as two women travelling together, we always felt safe and welcomed.
Honestly, there was nothing more we could have wanted. Thank you for giving two Australian sisters such wonderful memories in Bodrum — we will never forget it.

The couple who runs the hotel are extremely welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It’s also in a great location. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for a short two‑night visit and really enjoyed it. The hotel is well located in the center, just around the corner from the seaside promenade. The room was a comfortable size, clean, and equipped with a small fridge. The bathroom was compact but suitable for a boutique hotel. There are plenty of excellent food options within a short walking distance. One small consideration is that rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy at night due to passing traffic. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make sure guests have the best possible experience.

Wonderful owner-run hotel with heart in the centre of Bodrum

The Merih Hotel is a real gem in the middle of Bodrum! As soon as you enter, you feel that this small, individually decorated hotel with great attention to detail is run by the owners themselves. Everything is very personal and colourfully designed – you immediately feel welcome and comfortable.
We had a cozy apartment with separate bedroom, living room, kitchen and two balconies with beautiful sea views.
The location is perfect: Restaurants, small shops and shops are all within easy walking distance, and yet it's a bit secluded and quieter.
We would particularly like to highlight the warm owners who take their time and really care about their guests. They gave us personal recommendations for excursions and activities that were right for us – and even got up extra early to make sure our transfer and booked tours went smoothly.
A warm, personal hotel with a real feel-good factor – highly recommended.
