The Hotel Menara in Hammamet is located in the heart of the sea resort of South Hammamet. The rooms are comfortable with air conditioning and have a view of the swimming pool or the garden.

An atmosphere that makes all the difference
You quickly forget the small flaws when the atmosphere is this successful. The hotel's entertainment is really a major strong point. Special mention to Aziz, who gives a real identity to this entertainment. Always going all out, with incredible energy and a smile that never leaves him, he makes everyone want to participate, whether it's for water aerobics, the daytime activities, or the evening shows. Thank you for these beautiful moments.

Disappointed
I strongly advise against this hotel!
It is dated
The rooms, nothing works: the water pressure, windows that don't close, the front door you have to use your shoulder to open it and that's no joke!
In the restaurant, there are always missing plates and silverware; we ask for them and almost get scolded! Very few smiles, and tables are reserved on the condition of paying!
The food is always the same thing!
The sea is almost 10 minutes away; you have to cross a very dirty street and the beach is full of plastic.
A disappointment that was shared with several French couples!
In short, really avoid it! It is not a real 4-star hotel!

Nice weeks break
Animation team very entertaining.
Bar staff very hit and miss.
Not told about drinks available to purchase until next to last day.
Restaurant needs better organisation. Please invest in more cutlery, crockery and glasses.
Rooms very clean. Towels a little rough.

Not a relaxing or good location
Not sure how the reviews are so good.
The staff themselves are lovely and polite but everything else is just awful. Firstly the aircon just doesn't work, and the rooms didn't have anything to tell the maids to stop waking us up every morning by walking in. The hotel must hire out the outside by the pool to other people who are constantly pestering you to buy stuff with severely overpriced things. This constantly makes it uncomfortable and difficult to relax. There was a large man who I think did the massages who was especially inappropriate in how he operated.
We had the all inclusive package, which was absolutely awful. The glasses used were around 150ml and these were used for everything making it rather annoying to keep getting refills. Theres a seperate menu which didnt have everything it said. The only options included was 1 spirit boukha, 1 beer one draft and wine. There was a pick of 2 coctails that had about 10ml of spirits that also tasted awful. The private beach was nice but alcohol wasn't included defeating the all inclusive part. It was also inconvenient having to sign and say our room number everytime we wanted something, especially due to the small glass sizes.
Finally, apart from the bad atmosphere the food wasn't the best either. There was a good selection for lunch and dinner but it was mostly bland and often lots of flies.
Overall this place is neither relaxing nor a party destination and I wouldn't advise anyone to stay here. The staff was nice but the stress staying here defeated the purpose of the holiday.

Great hotel.
Animation is very good around the pool during the day time. Rooms are a bit out dated but they do. Food is quite repetitive. More like a 3 star.
