Fantastic Stay with an Amazing Animation Team!
The animation team deserves special praise. They organise a wide variety of fun activities creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere throughout the resort.
A special thanks to Ouma for her amazing energy and enthusiasm. She was always friendly, funny, and full of positivity. She made everyone feel welcome. Guests loved taking part in the activities she organized. Her dedication, kindness, and ability to bring smiles to everyone truly made our stay even more memorable.
We highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to return in the future!

Pleasant stay but upgrade needed
Spa - this needs work. Toilets in spa had no toilet seats or toilet roll. Masseuse was inexperienced. Room was cold and I had to ask her to put a towel on me. She had , had a little training but needs more. Massage was not a good standard and not particularly relaxing.
A breakfast was available when we left for an early flight which was a nice touch.

Exceptionally unpleasant
The hotel itself is absolutely not a 4-star establishment. The lifts do not work well, the bed was just two singles pushed together, and the property is neither clean nor updated enough to warrant its rating. The toilet, fridge, and air conditioning all malfunctioned. Furthermore, the sunbeds were mostly broken, the sheets were ripped, and the towels were old. The food also made us both ill; while there were occasionally nice local items, we avoided most meals as the food was largely poor quality and not fresh.
Predominantly, what ruined the entire experience was the horrendous behavior and attitude of almost every staff member. We only managed to enjoy ourselves by actively avoiding interactions, which always left a bitter aftertaste despite the fact that I spoke French with the staff and we were always polite. At one point, a staff member even publicly quizzed us on why we didn't spend time around the pool, calling us "weird." The real reason was the overt racism we faced from nearly all the staff. I repeatedly witnessed staff being incredibly friendly to the guests ahead of me in queues, only to greet me with pure ignorance—silence, hand waves, or being ignored entirely. We were routinely told that drinks or food we requested were "unavailable," right after watching the person ahead of us be served those exact items. The entire time, we were stared at by hotel staff.
This hostility extended outside the hotel. We ventured out once as a couple, only to have racist comments shouted at us alongside more staring. Even at the hotel's "private" beach, racist noises and comments were made. The one time I left the hotel alone as a female, a local man came and sat right next to me and began acting uncomfortably unpleasant. We witnessed this multiple times with other lone females and young women being catcalled and stared at. There was also an older solo female guest at the private beach who was openly and explicitly propositioned by a young local man.
On our final night, after enduring a week of blatant differential treatment, I chose to mention to a staff member that I had found the experience incredibly uncomfortable. Without prompting, he admitted that his colleagues had been actively discussing us, questioning: "Why is a white woman with a black man?" Knowing that this deep prejudice was the reason we were treated so disgustingly was shocking for a tourist hotel. When I pointed out that one specific staff member was continuously, purposefully rude—getting simple orders wrong and ignoring us—the employee brought him over to apologize. The rude staff member simply said, "I work 8-hour days, it is not personal." I replied that we also work hard in public-facing jobs, and that exhaustion is no excuse for targeted mistreatment. During this calm conversation, my partner was not present, and the staff member inappropriately suggested that he and I walk down the dark beach to discuss it in private—further demonstrating entirely unacceptable behavior.
The only time we were treated with any semblance of friendliness was on our first day, when eight different people tried to sell us something, only to become grumpy the moment we politely declined. (Regarding other guests: we had no issues with it being a primarily French hotel, except for one occasion when a fellow tourist took my belongings off my table. While this isn't the hotel’s direct responsibility, the four different staff members I asked for help were shockingly unhelpful and rude.)
To finish on the only positives: the weather was beautiful, and two members of the cleaning staff smiled at us. Additionally, Yousef, who worked as a gardener by the sea, was the only person who was genuinely polite, warm, and respectful. At just 19 years old, his colleagues—from reception, the waiters, the bar, the pool, the beach, sales, and the kitchen—could all learn from his hospitality.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Everyone we have recounted this experience to has been shocked and appalled. We will never return to this hotel, nor will we ever visit Tunisia again.

If you are black, stay away!
On our final night, we spoke with a member of staff who sympathised with our experience and brought some of the members of staff over to apologise. They commented that they could not believe that a white woman was with a black man which is very rude and disrespectful and because of our relationship, it has caused some members of staff to treat us in a negative way.
Moral of the story - if you are black, stay away. They hate us over here.

Not a Regency rating
Rooms were clean but the decor was very poor, stains in sink and on walls. NO tea/coffee making facilities in room! I asked the night manager who said that he would arrange for housekeeping to provide a kettle. This did not materialise and on speaking to reception I was given an extremely rude response and told kettle not provided by hotel and to go buy one for myself!
My booking was All Inclusive but at the bar, which closed at 11pm, only local beers and soft drinks were included. Premium beers Heineken,Becks etc and Cocktails had to be paid for. Total Rip Off!!!
Food varied sitting by sitting and was poor from an English perspective.
Outdoor and indoor pools were good along with the private beach area.
Overall I was extremely dissatisfied and would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy!
