The Jambo Hotel is very pleasant.
The price for the facilities they offer is ridiculous.
Without a doubt, the best hotel out of the five I stayed at.
Huge room, daily cleaning, giant closets, they come at night to spray for mosquitoes, the buffet is quite good... location... if they get one more meter closer to the water, they would be in the middle of the sea.
Every day, even when there were hardly any guests at the hotel, they offered a show, acrobatics, live singer... the drink prices are in the range of what they charge on the island, and there is 24-hour security both at the entrance and on the beach... I recommend it 100%... many workers are on duty and everything is impeccable... additionally, we had a water leak problem in the toilet, and the maintenance person came in 5 minutes... even at 10:30 at night...
I highly recommend this hotel.

Very bad experience
I had booked a room a month in advance. Upon my arrival, I was offered a room, leading me to believe that it was indeed the one I had booked. The receptionist explained to me that he had "negotiated" for it to be ready before 3 p.m., which didn't tip me off at the time.
That same evening, a leak appeared at the bathroom faucet. I notified the front desk and someone intervened while we were away. Upon returning, we had the unpleasant surprise of discovering that our room door hadn't even been locked. The next morning, the leak was still there.
I then decided to check my reservation and discovered that the room I had been assigned was not the one I had booked and paid for. When I asked for explanations, I was given several contradictory versions. I therefore asked to speak to the manager.
Unfortunately, her attitude was very disappointing: haughty, unpleasant, and unprofessional. I simply explained to her that I wished to get the room I had reserved or, failing that, a refund. Instead of coming back to see me herself, she sent an employee to inform me that there was no more availability and that a refund would be issued. I find it regrettable that a manager is not even capable of handling this discussion in person.
Despite everything, I would like to emphasize that the reception staff tried to do their best and remained polite despite this situation, but it is difficult to work calmly with management that lacks so much professionalism.
Finally, the breakfast has very little variety and lacks choices. The room is also not very functional, with a lack of furniture to set down or store one's belongings. As for the bedding, the mattress was particularly hard, which did not make the only night pleasant.
In view of this experience, I unfortunately do not recommend this establishment.

Great Food and Location – Some Room for Improvement
Room:
Unfortunately, we were initially given the wrong room upon arrival. It was resolved, but it caused some unnecessary hassle – more attention to detail would be appreciated here.
Food & Breakfast:
The food was excellent – varied and very tasty! Breakfast was also a highlight, with a wide selection and fresh options.
Staff & Service:
The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. A big plus is the security personnel who ensure that no beach vendors enter the hotel grounds – this added a sense of safety and comfort.
Cleanliness & Towels:
Cleanliness was okay overall, though not perfect. The towel exchange didn’t work reliably, which was a bit disappointing.
Location:
The hotel is located right by the beach, which is a big advantage. However, the sun loungers are placed within the hotel area, not directly on the beach – something to keep in mind. Still, the beach is just a few steps away.
Conclusion:
Overall, a pleasant stay with great food and friendly staff. If you don’t mind a few organizational hiccups, you’ll likely enjoy your time here.
