The night I spent here was great and it was a nice and comfortable experience. It's definitely not a luxury stay by any definition, but the place was clean, the breakfast was decent and the reception was amazing. They were especially helpful with figuring out directions and storing my luggage while I waited for my night flight.

The hostel is not bad, as its name suggests is a hostel with bed and breakfast for backpackers, very simple. The staff is friendly and upstairs they have a nice terrace where you can have a drink and see the city. However, PAY ONLINE. We stayed here my partner and I the day before going on safari and the day after in a double room of the same characteristics. The day before we were told that the price on the website that we had booked the room for was for one person and made us pay more (twice as much) to get us both in. However, the day after the safari we paid online and were both able to stay for the price that goes on booking.

A repeated stay at this hostel, a bit noisy at this time and before. Room is very basic, but at such affordable price, you cannot ask for more.

The staff was very helpful and accepted all my requests. If I have another chance to come to this country, I would definitely like to stay here again. I also want to recommend this place to my friends.

Fisiafrica's stay at Arusha Backpackers

We loved our stay and looking forward to coming back. The rooms and washrooms are clean, friendly staffs and nice breakfast.
We were able to see the Mt. Meru from the rooftop restaurant.
Easy transport is available just outside the entrance.
