Value for money, cosy environment, great hosts

Friendly hosts, spacious room, private hot spring bath, good local breakfast spread, convenient location which is short walk from main shopping street, accessibility to dining outlets n even fruit stalls which opens late into the night. Really value for money. The interaction with b&b hosts makes for interesting experience and human touch which commercial hotels can’t provide.

Quiet, comfortable and convenient

My husband and I stayed at Pottery B & B for a night. The facility is situated in the rural setting yet close to downtown Jiaosi about 6-8 min walking. Our room was a standard room with individual bathroom where we were able to soak in hot spring water in a big stone lined bathtub. It was very relaxing, and we soaked twice in our short stay. The room itself was clean, comfortable and spacious. The window gave us the view of the organic vegetable garden that the owners farmed themselves. The owners are of the same family who also raise ducks and chickens. The small farm provided the ingredients for the fresh and tasty breakfast. The grandma also made very good coffee. They were very friendly and helpful. The B & B is about 12 to 15 minutes walk to the two hot spring public parks in downtown and 8 minutes from the train station. All in all, we liked it very much and will definitely return in the future.

Personal hotspring in the room

Homestay at YiLan. Every room had its own hotspring water source. Breakfast was also served with produce from the owner's garden and mini farm. Location of the homestay is around 10 min walk from main road. You can find a lot of food and some shopping there. If you have young children, i recommend room 502. There is a slide for them to play in the room.
