Hotel with feet in the water in Lamai
A beautiful hotel at Lamai beach.
Hotel close to the beach, pleasant pool right after coming out of the sea.
Just a bit warm, but they are not going to cool it down anyway.
A complete breakfast, with real bread and croissants, and good coffee from the machine.
The staff is top-notch, always smiling and ready to help you.
We had a problem with the toilet flush, and they reacted immediately.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Not the Best
Firstly i will say this Hotel is in a Perfect Location in Lamai, We had a Standard Room which we Found Dated and Dark, There is no Mirror in The Bedroom only above the Sink in the Bathroom, the Shower was Awful as it can only stay in one Position, we were on the Ground Floor so we could hear every movement above from the people staying in that Room, The Bed was Very hard so it was Uncomfortable, when we went for Breakfast the First Morning the Young Girl asked us our Room Number, but did not tell us anything about the Procedure for Breakfast she just said find a Table,it was only on the fifth morning i noticed a pad on the Desk that was for Poached or Scrambled eggs or Omelette that you could Order but we were not told this, the Breakfast was Not Great, i will Say though the Drinks from the Bar were well Priced.
Sunbeds round the Pool need updating there are Heavy and Old, but really the Whole Hotel could do with a New Look.

3* Hotel with potential up
Rooms: The hotel has rooms over floors, garden bungalows and two beach bungalows. We had the Beach Bungalow 125. Nice, large and spacious. Unfortunately a bit too dark, as the festers were lined with furniture or were completely sealed with wooden panels.
We therefore recommend Bungalow 126, where all festivals are open and enough daylight falls in.
Cabinets/drawers are plentiful for storing clothing -100%-
I cannot make any statement about the rooms/garden bungalows.
Cleaning/cleanliness: Every day new towels, the room is cleaned daily, every other day the linen was changed. The dishes used are washed and you get two bottles of water a day.
Daily change of pool towels either during cleaning from the room or at reception. -100%-
Towards evening, a spiral of incense was lit daily against mosquitoes.
Breakfast: There is a large open breakfast room which also serves as a restaurant. Unfortunately, the breakfast is very monotonous => American Breakfast.
There is always the same to choose from, so we got ourselves sausage/cheese/ham etc.
If you want you can choose between different freshly prepared omelets .....but you will not be informed about it on arrival. We only found out about it after a week's stay. Fruit varieties were only papaya, pineapple and melon.
Since we travel to Thailand every year, we actually had one of the poorest breakfasts here. It is also a pity that the selection of fruits was kept very minimalist, although there are enough different fruits in Thailand.
Pool: Rectangular infinity pool, sufficient for cooling.
The loungers are arranged around it. Sunbeds/umbrellas are enough but far too few shade places, so these few have been reserved with a hotel towel before breakfast.
If you don't follow this spectacle, you have to accept sunny places.
A large part of the reserved sunbeds are not occupied all day and are used by the reserving staff in the late afternoon.
No action is taken by the staff/management in this regard, despite complaints. -50%-
To our satisfaction another sun lounger on the terrace was added. -100%- What I can only recommend with the bungalows as there is also a fan on the terrace.
Staff/staff: The staff is very friendly/attentive and helpful. -100%-
Conclusion: a nice little 3* hotel if you disregard the breakfast and the reservation theme. Therefore, there is only one 75% recommendation from us.
To the hotel management: Upon arrival, inform guests that reserving lounge chairs is not permitted. A flyer in the room would also be helpful.
The staff should consistently remove towels from unused lounge chairs after 2 hours.
Rethink the breakfast menu and make it more varied.

Very friendly and beautiful
I recently stayed with a friend at the Hive in Lamai beach. It was a great location with lovely friendly staff and a fab breakfast and restaurant. The rooms are basic but very comfortable with a/c but in a lovely setting with a jungle like atmosphere with the birds singing and beautiful plants. It's a walk to the main road in Lamai for lots of restaurants and bars and has a pool and is right on the beach. Would def stay again.

Lovely hotel on the beach our 2nd visit this year
We love this hotel this was our second time staying here. Breakfast was delicious. Best part was the time of year as there were no sunbed hoggers it was great and would recommend this time again even the resort wasn’t as busy so it was perfect. We stayed in a bungalow and was perfect much brighter and bigger than the room we had last time so would recommend. No noise at all from the street. Staff lovely.
