Great location and best food in the area

Great location on Aow Yai (Long Beach) with great sunsets and possibility of doing a little surf. All the bungalows are walking distance from the beach and have many thoughtful little details such as a large container to refill with purified water at reception for drinking water or hammocks to be hung on all the bungalow entrances. Really good value for money overall. They have a very extensive and varied menu and probably the best food in the area. Their sour ale sourdough pizza is definitely worth a try.
I first found them on Booking.com but was confused as they offered a small air conditioned bungalow but the photos had test on it mentioning that there was no AC and only a fan. However when I came to reception they said it did have AC and it did (photos for that room type on Booking are misleading…).
Their only issues were the mattress in my bungalow (#6 which seemed to be quite old (the springs were noisy and could be felt at times) and the staff whose service had a couple of hiccups despite their being very friendly. Things like forgetting one of the food orders or coming back to tell me a cocktail or dish was unavailable 15 minutes after ordering it.
But these were all small issues which can easily be solved through a little guidance and overall I had a great experience and would happily come back again if I returned to Koh Phayam.

Great spot and a nice little cabin style accommodation. Bathroom was open around the edges but not too many mossy s came in that way. There was a lot of mossy s around when opening the front door.
The room had aircon and a fan, fridge hairdryer and kettle. No coffee or tea sachets provided. Breakfast was good with a selection on 2 days from the buffet and then last day alacarte. Great spot on beach.
A lot of places seemed to be closed due to low season.

Such a nice stay at a well kept resort. Their staff and service was amazing and the kitchen was very good. A convenient location too, you can even manage without a motorcycle.

Had the best time here

We absolutely loved our stay here, right on long beach and amazing air con in the villas. The is a restaurant on the beach also here. Great service from all the staff. We booked directly with them and got it a bit cheaper than the accommodation sites. We are definitely staying here again next year.
