A decent hotel right on the main bar and restaurant area in Ranong, rooms are fine for a short stay.

In Room with Worms

In the room there is a #worm sleeping with it. Worms are in the room because they don't open windows or doors, windows don't open at all, which means that #worms are in the bedroom before we enter. Sleep together one night in the morning. In fact, stay for two nights, but you can't move the hotel.

For one night it's ok, but sometimes it's loud from the Bars opposite the hotel.
A good laundry shop is also opposite.
The room was quiet ok, clean and everything you need.
The bed (matress) was still covered in plastik foil and very hard, so not realy nice to sleep on.

Look around first

Stayed the night here on recommendation from a blogger the wife follows. Place is run down and rooms are tucked away in a back alley which is the rear of other businesses and is very unattractive. Staff spoke little English which is fine but had little idea on what western tourists may need. Hotel is positioned close and handy to bars and restaurants. At $28AUD probably fair but a bit run down.
