Great hotel with a ***** who owns it.

Good except for the "owner" o recption.
I have lived there before and it has been good. It was now with the exception of a figth about 2 dirty pillowcases. I had drooled on the earpiece 2 times o it became a heavenly life over it. I said _It goes away in the wash. Then the boss who claimed she owns the hotel started. Well, if I get 25,000 baths, I went to my room. Now they were 4 after me and the boss throws his sneakers after me on the stairs! So a friend came there and talked to them and after that I said nothing, did not even visit them. But the 2 young girls who cleaned were wonderful, all credit to them. If you are the owner and behave, you should not run any business whatsoever, disaster! My friend fixed the pillowcase and I bought two new. I have stayed at a hotel nearby 17 times and there was never any whining about dirty pillowcases.
Disliked · The girl who often sat in reception could not speak more in English than Hallo o Thank you. Recptinists should speak English.

Karon Sea Side hotel
Nice budgethotel. Clean, big room with safetydepositbox, tv, airco, big clauset, badroom, nice balcony. They offer you free coffee and croissant and jam at the lobby. In the middle off the mainstreet in Karon. Friendly staff.

Cheap hotel
If you are looking for a cheap hotel, try karon seaside hotel. Take note that this hotel doesn’t have a lift but what I like most of this hotel was ,it was a walking distance to Karon Beach and there’s a lot of stores nearby.

Very Basic. Not good value
Karon Sea Side is a very basic hotel and basically furnished. The staff are not at all friendly. Reception area is untidy. The rooms are small and the walls are dirty, in need of either a good clean or painting. Stayed two nights and if not paid for these we would have found alternative hotel.

Holiday home for a month
Arrived at 21:30 (9:30pm) and were met by the friendly reception staff, Booking in was quick and simple.Our room was on the second floor. No elevator but stairwell and corridors were wide and well illuminated, plus the staff carried our bags and showed us the room. Large, extremely clean and well maintained. Two large single beds as requested. Very good private bathroom with a powerful shower and lots of hot water. Small fridge, writing desk with flat screen television, showing cable and local channels. Large wardrobe with drawers and a modern safe. The air-conditioning was also modern and worked very well. Our room was on the south side of the building and overlooked a small field. Balcony had a table and two chairs. The main road was very busy all day and evening, but became quieter around 23:00 (11pm) Wherever you stay in Karon, all roads are busy. The hotel is only 3 years old and is pristine. Cleaning ladies come every day and do a good job. No smell of drains etc. Fresh towels for the beach on a daily basis and we would walk slowly past all the restaurants and shops, taking 15 to 20 minutes to get to it. The nearest restaurant to the hotel is next door with a supermarket 3 minutes away. Our breakfast was included in the price. It was freshly made and served to order. ranging from continental to almost a full English. The breakfast area was in a corridor, adjacent to reception. All in all, this hotel is fantastic value. We stayed 27 nights and found the hotel and service faultless and have already re-booked for next February.
