We really liked this hotel, the room was clean and very spacious and the wifi worked well. Breakfast was quite good and over all the service was good and the property is well maintained.
The only negative thing was that the water in the pools was really cold! Also, we had a room with pool access, but we didn't spend much on our terrace, because there were no sunbeds.
The neighbourhood was nice; close to many restaurants, 7/11 and multiple massage places. Also walking distance to the beach.

Stay here at your own risk

The location is good but the hotel is appalling. There are three sites and we were placed over the road away from all facilities which was not clear in booking. The lift to this building is in a bad state of repair, the “superior room”’ we booked had small black biting bugs, a dangerous TV that could only be turned off by pulling the plug out the socket, with barely any channels functioning and beds that were as hard as wooden boards. I flagged my concerns the day we arrived but no one from the hotel responded. Breakfast (on the other side of the road) is fine if you only want to eat bread, curry or fruit. That is the total selection.
We wasted several hundred pounds on this terrible hotel as we have now booked another hotel just to get away. Interestingly the new hotel staff new about the bad reputation of Ao Nang Viva Resort so I doubt we are the first to need to relocate for our safety and sanity. No refund or compensation was offered. Book at your own risk.

Pathetic

Highly unsatisfied with my stay. The customer service was extremely disappointing and did not assist with any of the issues I raised. The room had no window, which made it feel very cramped and uncomfortable. For the same price, there are many better options available in the area. I highly regret choosing this hotel and would not recommend it.

Lovely resort, friendly staff and good breakfast. Surrounded by restaurants/shops and short walk to beach.

The rooms were very ordinary ones and not worth for the tariff. At this price many other hotels were available at better rates .
