Treated Like Family

I am Foundational Black American and they treated us like family. This is a family run business. Everyone was kind, polite, helpful and respectful. Pe pe the owner does all the cooking so you're eating traditional home-cooked Thai food. It is very clean. And looks just like the photos. As an American my 2 only criticisms are the beds and pillows are hard but I'm a soft American and the taxis (Grab and Bolt) think this place is far out.

This is a great place for peace of mind and friendly staff. It’s more like staying with family than at a hotel.

Secluded, Quiet, Comfortable hotel

Very nice place. A bit hard to find without GPS. Nice facilities. Stayed in a bungalow. Nice clean room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Good A/C. Hot shower. Off street parking. Exceptionally friendly staff. English spoken by some. Open air restaurant. Thai food. Cooked to order Thai or American breakfast. Nice landscaping.

Amazing Family owned Hotel

I have traveled extensively, and I would rate this hotel as the best, by far, that I have ever stayed in. Have I stayed at more luxurious places? Yes, but have never experienced the attention that was shown here by Pepe, and her family. The room was lovely, and spacious. They upgraded our room at no charge when we arrived because of some mobility issues I had, they changed our room because the one we had booked had several steps. My husband and I were always addressed by our first name, and they remembered our preferences for meals, where to sit, etc. They helped arrange private tours for us at reasonable rates. Meals were delicious, and always cooked to order. All staff were so courteous and helpful. Pepe amd Jan spoke English very well. We were made to feel like family. I will definately return to Golden Cupids when I go back to Chaing Mai, and will highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. It is about a 30 min ride from the old city of Chaing Mai, but they offer transport to the city once a day, and return taxi is reasonable. Thank you to Pepe , Jan, and all the staff for a remarkable, memorable stay at Golden Cupids. Emily and Steve Morgan

A rare jewel in Chiang Mai.

Family run hotel with spacious room and great food. Food was cooked in front of you with a family touch to it. The owner Peppe and her family were there to cater for all your needs. They carried your bags, they cooked your food, they did the laundry and they also took us back to the airport once our stay was done. It was a great trip to Chiang Mai but it became memorable after our stay at the Golden Cupid. The feeling of family and relaxation comes to mind once you are there. Highly recommend spending time there since it is like no other hotel experience you had encountered but will keep you talking about.
