Modern hotel, good price

The hotel is over the river from the town's other hotels but is only about a 10 minute walk along the river path to the main part of town. There's a small bar opposite but no shops in the immediate area. It's a large modern building in 3 blocks, motel style with a big car park. Room was large, clean, modern, comfy bed, fridge, ac. It had a small balcony which would have a river view from 1st floor but we were on ground floor so looked onto some scrubby gardens and drying hotel linen. Bathroom was wet room style but sloped away from the plug hole so was constantly wet. Also as our room was next to the entrance door for the block it was quite noisy with guests coming and going. I'd ask for a 1st floor room if coming again which may have pushed the rating up towards 4.
