Good Days at Aonang Glory Resort, thanks for a nice weekend

The best place to enjoy the Holidays in Ao Nang, nice people and nice Hotel, i would come back. I loved the swimmingpool and to sit at the terrace with a bier while it was raining.

Good but without +

We arrived in the evening, no signs are clearly marked, and the name of the resort is on a door that no one can see.
Hard to find.
The room is OK, cleanliness ok.
When we ask at reception to be able to rent a scooter, they tell us that we must deposit our passport as a deposit or money (3000 bath). So be careful to have change on you because all rental scooters do the same thing.
The staff is not very pleasant. Does not do well in English.
We only stayed one night. The next day, when we check out, the owner of the establishment asks us for our plans. We say we don’t know yet because we don’t want to unpack our whole lives.
As soon as the grab arrives, this same boss asks in Thai for the destination that was requested on the application.
The grab driver then gives our destination (which was another much nicer hotel than this one).
I find it very unprofessional to want to know at all costs which hotel we are going to when we didn't want to say it.
In conclusion, hotel ok for a night or two, for a getaway. There are so many other hotels, much better than this one, better located and for a very affordable price too

If you want to escape from noisy parties and a large number of tourists, then this is definitely the place for you! I recommend it 100%!

We stayed in this beautiful, quiet place for 2 nights with the whole family. We would love to stay more, but, unfortunately, all the places were taken. Clean rooms, the entire hotel area is cleaned every day in the morning. Hospitable hosts, kind staff, thank you for everything!

Really nice but..

Don’t get me wrong this place is very good, it’s clean, staff is nice and they give water/coffee everyday. However, they charge a 3% credit card fee (which was not on their booking page), they don’t have laundry or irons on premises so you’ll have to pay more to get your clothes pressed from another company and probably wait for hours for it to come back. Also the pool is small and not deep at all, from one end to another it only takes 3-4 strokes. It’s expensive if you look at the prices of other resorts, which is fine but atleast provide the money’s worth! Also, carry mosquito repellent when sitting outside. Lots of mosquitoes

Excellent place to stay

Stayed at the Aonang Glory Resort for four nights Dec 2018. Room was very clean, comfortable and seemed brand new. The staff were extremely helpful with ideas for what to do, cheaper tour packages, and also helped us call to confirm three different bookings. Rented a motorbike from the hotel for a day which was very cheap and easy. Location is about 10 minutes away from the busy area which we enjoyed as it was quiet, cheap tuktuk in to town and they give free shuttles multiple times a day. Would highly recommend.
