A great discovery in Splügen

After a wonderful trip to San Bernardino, we went to Spügen to buy meat from the famous butcher and while waiting for the butcher's shop to open we went to the restaurant of the Hotel Bodenhaus to enjoy a cup of ice cream and a good coffee.
The place on the veranda is wonderful and quiet, the Dänemark cup was great (we took the small one that was so small it was not). The staff really exquisite, kind, helpful and friendly!
We had a really good time! We saw that some excellent dishes were also served, but we had already had lunch.

Superb lunch for our large group

I booked a lunch for 38 family reunion members, and the experience could not have been better.
The hotel was very precise in requesting information about the dietary preferences for the set menu, and Domenico and the kitchen/wait staff were very professional and kind in dealing with last second changes.
The meal was fantastic, and the setting beautiful. We had a delicious two-course meal followed by the best pannacotta I have ever had.
My entire family highly recommends Hotel Bodenhaus.

Great hotel, undergoing renovation so not all amenities were available. Fantastic welcoming staff and lovely breakfast.

Great hotel

The hotel is very nice and in a good location. The service was very friendly and professional. The room clean and well equipped. Parking right in front of the hotel. The breakfast buffet is very rich and the service, especially the lady very, very friendly and chatty. The hotel is very well located.
