Traditional Swiss farmhouse apartment and barn

Apartment is in a traditional old Swiss farmhouse and barn. There are horses and house cats. Spotless with scenic views. Host is friendly and helpful. We eat next door at the hotel that has a bowling alley (skittles) Food was exceptional, the staff were helpful to translate for us. Note - You will need a Swiss power adapter. B&B was cash only.

Delightful stay

We were on a road trip with 3 grandchildren in tow, the family room here could not have been better. Esther was most welcoming, and let our youngest two be with her as she fed the horses. The breakfast spread was very complete and well worth he money. The view of the valley with the snow-covered mountains completed a jewel of an experience. We'd be back here in a flash, especially in warmer weather.

Good location for exploring Northeastern Switzerland

My rating would have been "good" if that rating were available. Travelers to Europe from the US need to realize that B&Bs in Europe are not quite the same as in the US. In Europe a B&B means bed and breakfast - no parlors in which to relax, etc. And at B&B Haag breakfast is not included in the rate, it is extra. That being said, B&B Haag is very clean, has a comfortable bed and a very nice bathroom. There is only one small chair on which to sit. The door does open onto a small patio and the view from there is beautiful. The Friesen.horses, which are just beside the bedroom, are delightful.
Switzerland is very expensive and for anyone looking to economize on hotel accommodations, this is a good spot. The owner, Esther, and her helper, Alexandria, are friendly and quite helpful.

Convenient and pleasant B and B

Arrived and departed in the pouring rain so we were unable to make us of the hot tub or enjoy the gardens, however that did not take away from an enjoyable stay in this B and B. Our hostess, Ester, Speaks beautiful English, is very friendly and helpful. We were given a thorough tour of the amenities (including the kitchen area. We arrived late on a Sunday afternoon and decided to 'picnic' in the b and b as opposed to try to find an open restaurant. The kitchen area worked beautifully for this (plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware available). We had the downstairs room, which although small, worked fine. Mattress nice and firm, bathroom large with plenty of hot water in the shower and all very clean. Good free WiFi service. We chose not to breakfast here, but ate at a motorway rest-stop with a perfectly good cafeteria just a little further south.
Would have no hesitation in returning here.

Nice owner and nice place

We loved the place and enjoyed riding the horses of the owner, the owner was very kind and welcoming lady.
The place is clean and close to restaurants and shopping center in Haag.
Things I didn't like:
* poor wifi.
* no swimming pool as I thought.
* No Kitchen in the apartment and the shared kitchenette has no oven to cock.
* Shared refrigerator.
* Apartments small and has only beds there is no place to sit.
