Excellent stay with an unbeatable Alpine view
I chose this hotel after finding a fantastic discounted deal on Booking.com that included a room upgrade and breakfast, and I’m very pleased with my choice.
Check-in was smooth and welcoming, and I was even able to check in before midday, which was a great start to my stay. The room was large, spacious and very comfortable, with a generous balcony offering a direct view of the Alps. In my opinion, it was arguably one of the best views in Saas-Fee village.
The bathroom was modern, well equipped, and everything was in perfect working order. The room was exceptionally clean, and the daily housekeeping service was of a very high standard.
Breakfast was plentiful and offered a good variety, with something to suit everyone. Check-out was equally smooth and hassle-free.
The hotel is also very centrally located, close to the main lifts and within around a 10-minute walk of the bus station, making it an excellent base for exploring Saas-Fee.
Overall, I had absolutely no complaints and would happily recommend this hotel. For the price I paid, the quality, location, cleanliness and spectacular Alpine view made this an excellent value stay. I would definitely return.

Too bad
We actually love this hotel, especially because of the proximity to the slopes.
In November 2025 we booked a room for 5 nights in and now the same room was offered for CHF 126 per night cheaper and a room upgrade! It makes you feel like an early bird.
Dinner was nothing and expensive (CHF 60/person): indefinable, lukewarm and tasteless.
The floor in the room was cleaned once and the linen was changed despite obvious stains only before last night.
On Friday night, the hotel turned into a madhouse shortly after 6 p.m., especially as a horde of half-strength came back from the aperitif and rioted for an hour. However, the staff did not care in the slightest. At 2 a.m., the horde could be heard again briefly as they returned from the exit.
As thanks for everything, the employee and driver watched my wife and I carry the bags to the electric car today and it didn't occur to him to at least carry the skis, so I was allowed to get them myself.
It's a real shame, hopefully they'll get this back together.

Everything worse with new owner.
The hosts do not speak a word of German. Half of the small SPA was broken or did not work properly. Loveless soap in the shower and bad bathrobes for the SPA. Breakfast is OK. The owner walks around constantly taking pictures of the buffet with her cell phone to criticize the employees. Dealing with the employees is questionable.

Great stay, perfect location, super comfortable, Very clean. Lovely manager.
I was so surprised to see the negative review of this hotel as it was the opposite of our experience.
Alexandra who is the manager was so incredibly helpful and kind. The room was spotless and super comfortable, the wellness area was Immaculate with a lovely sauna, steam and hot tub. The bar area downstairs, although quiet was fully stocked. The view from the rooms is stunning and the location could not be better for the ski lift. The hotel is more modern than most in the town. I would absolutely recommend the hotel.

Top location BUT NEVER AGAIN
Like every year a short trip of 3 days in SAAS FEE and now the 3rd trip in SAAS FEE. Mal in the Alpin because of the great location. HOWEVER, NEVER AGAIN !!! Since the change of ownership in 2024 to a Chinese, unfortunately everything is no longer sufficient. Room though functionally furnished but the cleanliness is very poor. (hair under the bed, small worms in the bathroom, dust on all furniture etc.
The breakfast as often mentioned very minimal and “budget quality” and hardly any choice. I certainly don't want to talk about coffee......
The only downer were the two very friendly ladies at the reception who had to be at the reception as well as prepare, clean, refill, clear etc....... Just as the Chinese want....!
Then the ski storage although practical but the heating of the compartments for the boots does not work even after 2x mention.... So they were shoes just wet :-(
In addition, when you meet a Chinese employee who of course speaks neither German nor English ..... but does not even greet and even look the other way ....this in Switzerland and even in Upper Valais !! THAT CANNOT BE SORRY !!!
Conclusion : You will find the better anyway, even if you are 2-3 minutes further from the cable car ! Have fun in Saas Fee
