Perfect for short stays.

The location is really great, in the center and a few minutes from the lake. It's not really a hotel, there are rooms above the pub. Rooms are spacious and clean with Private bathroom with a large shower. There is no wardrobe, TV and no safe. Perfect for spending a couple of nights. Reasonable price.

Basic hotel above pub

I think the place is good located; in the centre of Locarno, which is really good. Its basically just some huts above a English pub, which means you do not have to expect luxury, just very basic stuff is there. For 50 EUR it would be a good price which is what we paid, but I would not pay exceeding this amount (sometimes it can be crazy expensive at Pardo)

Awfully noisy

Sleepless nights guaranteed due to the bar downstairs playing loud music and the noisy drunken crowd sticking to the terrasse way after closing time. Same situation during 4 nights, looks like it’s the norm ! To be avoided

Expensive

We stayed upstairs the Pardo bar, the room was clean and fresh, and their was not that much noise and its in the centre of Locarno. However, I would not say that this room is worth 205 CHF for the night as basic things such as an normal functioning window and more then one towl where not supplied. Although i am super open minded, I also did not really like the approach of asking your keys in the bar with being treated as an second rang costumer 'Do you mind if i am going to give some beers and have some fun before helping you" Not reccomend.

comfortable and private

We stayed at a double room with own bathroom. The room was big enough for two and had plenty of storage space. A refridgerator, an electric kettle tea and coffee was available in the hall. The room was clean.
