Good potential, but poor comfort and management

Good location to use as starting point to explore the region. The room was very big. The free parking space is also very convenient. However, we could clearly hear noise from the neighbouring rooms. There was particularly loud noise from the room next to ours from late evening until well into the night. Our room was located directly above the reception area, yet no staff intervened. At around 2am we tried to report the disturbance (both in person and by phone), but the reception was closed, despite the information stating that it operates 24 hours a day. The pillows were uncomfortable, and the room lacked basic amenities (considering the price) such as bottled water, a kettle and a fridge. The breakfast was very basic and the food did not seem particularly fresh.

We are delighted that you appreciated our location, the spacious rooms and the free parking. We are therefore all the more sorry that your stay was significantly affected by noise pollution. We would like to apologise for the inconvenience this caused.
We take your comment about the reception desk not being staffed at night very seriously. Of course, as communicated, we should be available at all times. We will investigate this incident internally and take appropriate measures to ensure that our guests receive assistance at all times.
The room amenities correspond to a 3-star hotel. Upon request, kettles can be borrowed from reception, subject to availability. In Maienfeld, we have spring water that can be drunk from the tap without hesitation. It is also possible to purchase drinks for your room in the bistro.
We serve a Swiss breakfast, which is freshly prepared every day.
We are sorry that we were unable to meet your expectations this time. We would be delighted if you would give us the opportunity to convince you of our improved service during a future stay.

An all-round warm recommendation – especially family-friendly, attentive and with exceptional service.

I regularly visit the Swiss Heidi Hotel with my 7-year-old son Leon, and we feel completely comfortable every time. All staff are extremely accommodating and welcoming – Leon almost feels at home here. The reception team is particularly attentive and dedicated: When I spontaneously asked for batteries and superglue during the last stay, the receptionist looked without hesitation and helped us immediately. Even at breakfast the staff are always very friendly and attentive. A hotel with genuine hospitality – highly recommended!

Great stop over while visiting Heidi land. Gave us access to connect with Bernina express. Short walk to Maienfeld train station. Beautiful mountain views.

Good group accommodation

As participants of a larger rice group we stayed here well for two nights. The quite large rooms were very functional in appealing design, although without all the extras. We were served friendly. We leave the restaurant unrated; serving several groups at the same time necessarily leaves something to be desired.
