Gut Bürgerlich
Kinderfreundlich mit Spielplatz. Essen im Garten. Wenn keine Plätze mehr frei sind in anderen Restaurants, hat der Chef immer noch einen Tisch parat. Viele Stammgäste.

On March 8, 2024 we stopped at the Ryter bakery for a coffee. As there was construction everywhere, the bakery's parking spaces were not available. It was therefore by avoiding the works and obstacles on the road that we parked in the place reserved for the Simplon restaurant without realizing it. This place was also under construction, the ban on parking without consumption was not very visible and as the car park had just been paved there were no painted lines demarcating the reserved spaces, so we did not have it REMARK.
Plus, it was 8:40 a.m. and there was barely anyone in the parking lot. We only stayed 20 minutes, just long enough to have a coffee.
The hotel manager could have come out and warned us that we did not dare park there, he preferred to take photos and send us an invoice for 43.24.- CHF.
I therefore strongly advise you not to stay in this hotel, the boss was really not understanding and did not want to hear anything in order to make a move.
It plays on a legal vagueness which allows private individuals to fine people by tracking them and sending them an invoice for “parking without consumption”, several cases of this type have been published in the press recently.

Worse than anything I have ever been to
I arrived and was taken to the first room. Disgusting carpet. Disgusting decor. Not clean. There was a shower thing in the room that may as well have been a bucket and hose. Was told it didn't work. I was shown another room equally disgusting. I said I would not stay the staff picked up my distress (female on my own) and showed me another room at the back of the hotel. This was definitely an improvement however I would not have expected a homeless family to stay in it!
I did not dare breakfast I was desperate to get out and find another hotel which I did at 9am.
I had to pay 90 Swiss francs for this awful experience so not at the cheap end either.
Bar I walked through was full of what looked like locals smoking and drinking.
This deserves a - rating. Avoid at all costs it was truly awful and distressed me so much I barley slept a wink even though I had been awake almost 24 hours.

Ne pas s'y rendre
De prim abord nous sommes bien reçu.
A notre arrivée, nous demandons si l'établissement accepte les euros. Réponse positive de l'hôtesse d'accueil.
Nous sommes accompagné dans un studio à la propreté douteuse et pas d'eau chaude pour prendre une douche ! Qu'à celà ne tienne.... On me demande patienter 30 min pour avoir de l'eau chaude car le mitigeur est cassé ! 30 min plus tard, toujours pas d'eau chaude.
On me propose alors une chambre digne d'une maison de retraite abandonnée depuis des lustres avec douche et toilettes sur le palier et la propreté n'est toujours pas au rendez-vous !
Je refuse cette chambre et on me propose un 2ème studio que je finis par accepter vu l'heure tardive.
Mais celui-ci n'est pas mieux !
Douche cassée, lit avec des lattes maquettes et le must, des trous dans les draps !
Au moment de régler notre séjour, surprise... l"hotesse nous demande 140€ soit 20€ de plus que le prix annoncé et confirmé lors de notre réservation. Pour elle 140CHF = 140 €.
Il a fallu que je les menace de téléphoner à la police pour payer le prix convenu mais vraiment convenable....

Abbiamo cenato all'aperto, ampia scelta di piatti e prezzi ottimi.
