It was nice and clean, not fancy, but absolutely value for money. Nice room a fine shower also for tall people.

Average ageing hotel

My wife and I were passing through and spent a night here. The hotel has come of age, the rooms have been renovated once, but here the wear is already recognizable. The room was ok, our bed was way too soft and too slack. The in-house underground parking is available for 11 Fr.- completely i.O. All in all, for one night ok, but nothing more.

No air conditioning, censored internet!

First of all, I would like to emphasize that I did not actually live in the Hotel Alpha, but in the Gama Home belonging to the Hotel Alpha. I can hardly complain about the equipment of the studio. The studio had, in addition to his usual equipment, a kitchenette with hotplate, oven and refrigerator with freezer.
What I lacked was a desk and air conditioning. If all windows are closed, then it is quiet in the studio. No sound comes through the windows.
In the heat, however, thanks to the lack of air conditioning, it was necessary to open from ubd to the windows. Then you get all the outside noise, especially in the evening.
The quality of the WiFi is very good. However, the Internet is filtered, but this can be partially circumvented by using Google or Duckduckgo.
The filter provider also has gaps as large as barn doors when filtering erotic/pornographic services.
As for the surroundings of Hotel Alpha, Hotel Alpha is not far from the train station. However, I felt negatively reminded of the not-so-spare pages vol La Palma, Llos Lanos de Ariadne.

Simple and effective

Very friendly staff. Very decent room, small but comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Location close to the train station and the center, but rather quiet. I stayed there one night for a seminar and it was perfect. Reception closes at 9 p.m.
