Great BnB for a stay near Bern / Neuchâtel or Morat.

I read some bar review but at the end I spent a lovely weekend in this BnB. The room is very big. The villa is superb. The location is so peaceful and close to Morat. Herve give us a bike so we had the chance to ride around the lake. A great experience. I was also scared about all the comments about the dog but the dog is just so tiny. Just 2 kg. You cannot even see it. I can only recommend this great place if you are in the area. This is very close to Bern, Neuchatel and Morat. A very nice village to visit.

Most Unpleasant

We were promised two rooms with private baths; only one room had this, we had to use a bathroom down the hall. No problem, normally, but their family dog also used our bathroom to poop and pee on the floor. There was no manager on site, so their son cleaned up the mess. The oddest thing that all night long there was not an older adult and even as we were leaving, there was not a soul around with whom to speak. The owner now claims that we must have done something to make the dog sick. In reality, there was no one to care for customers AND no one to let poor dog outside to do its business.

Perfect B&B

We stayed here to do some road cycling, a lovely B&B, nice modern rooms with an amazing view over the lake.
The shampoo, shower gel and moisturiser in the bathroom is a nice touch.
Just a short walk into town (about 30 min).

Notte a Greng

Bellissima villa in un bellissimo contesto, stanza perfetta come tutto il resto, dal balcone si vede il Lago di Morat, il proprietario gentilissimo e simpatico.
Posta rilassante, nessun rumore, wifi ottimo.
Assolutamente consigliato.

Mauvais rapport qualité/prix

Sur les photos et le site internet la proposition est alléchante...mais il y a un truc qui cloche : pas de petit déjeuner proposé alors que nous sommes en Gastzimmer (avec un niveau de prix frisant les 200 €).
Cette première impression malheureusement se confirme avec un accueil réduit à sa plus simple expression : nous aurons été en contact 5 minutes montre en main sur tout le séjour avec notre hôte, pas vraiment de l'accueil chez l'habitant.
Bon c'est vrai, c'est une maison d'architecte avec piscine... pas chauffée (même si nous étions en pleine canicule) et avec douche froide (sûrement à cause encore de la canicule). De même autour de la piscine, il faut s'armer de patience et de ruse entre les hôtes pour arriver à attraper une chaise longue. La vue est superbe sur le lac... sauf que devant la maison il y a des arbres (qui ont sûrement grandi) cachant la vue. Enfin au niveau de l'entretien, on partage les lieux avec les araignées et leurs toiles... allez, encore un petit effort sur le ménage.
Bon vous l'aurez compris : très déçu par le rapport qualité/prix. Au cours de notre périple franco- germano-suisse, nous avons rencontré d'autres structures à même niveau de prix, mais avec des prestations (bien) supérieures.
Pas sûrs que l'accueil soit la première motivation de notre hôte...
