Comfortable, peaceful stay

We stayed here after four days hiking part of the Haute Route and it was just perfect. The beautiful view from the balcony where we could celebrate our time in the Alps was lovely. The beds were comfortable and the shower and bath hot and good pressure. Coffee machine in the room and the breakfast with fresh croissants were great.

Perfect Haute Route Pit Stop

After 5 days on the Haute Route, the Hotel du Pigne was exactly what I needed for an amazing, hot (and not time-restricted) shower and an amazing meal. The private rooms and bed were extremely comfortable, and the restaurtant was delicious. The "easy raclette" is not to be missed, and we had a blast chatting with the staff and meeting others around our table. A perfect night!

The waiter insults me because I ask for the menu map

We were coming down from the Pigne and we were looking forward to having a drink and eating in this restaurant. Tuesday from August to 13:00, 12 guests on terraces. The waiter deigns to address us after 20 minutes. We tell him that we wish to eat, so he leaves without a word. After 10 mins, I go inside and tell him that I take the cards to consult the dishes. 'If you can't wait, okay'. I tell him the wait is a little long. 'If you don't like it, you can go somewhere else'. I leave the room and I hear a 'duck', you will have recognized the insult. I'll come back to him, ask him to talk to the chief. The latter asks me what I did. I explain to him and he tells me that people coming inside, it doesn't help. So I'm not the only one. On the way out I explain the story to my friends and at the side table, a lady who seems very respectable tells me that she was also allowed inappropriate words from the waiter. We leave this shop, according to the feedback, they do not seem courteous to the customer. The rope in a nearby village turns out to be an establishment where the dishes are very good and the tenants very polite.

Pure pleasure!

We really liked this Pension and its restaurant. The staff is lovely and accommodating. Pension is comfortable, clean and quiet. We ate very well there. The fondue was delicious and the breakfast quality. It is ideally located since the Check-out to make the loop through the Aiguilles Rouges cabin and the Blue Lake is located right next door. All this for the best value for money. Really, I recommend this place!

A great place to stay in this stunningly beautiful location.

This is a great hotel in a beautiful village below the stunning peaks of Val d'Herens. The rooms are very comfortable and the restaurant offers a great range of local and popular dishes. So many beautiful hikes are possible from the hotel. A great place to stay@
