Very modern hotel
So easy to find ex train station bus 30
13 mins on bus get off at Reinilring or something like this look left and up and one minute you are there you will see the advertising flag
Bus 50 ex airport to train station
The rooms were lovely we had a choice of upgrading to a room with air conditioning but opted for a fan in need and we did. Whilst there it was 30+ degrees
Our room overlooked the street a little noisy at times but preferred and we could close the window regardless
The staff were amazing and so was the bar area
They were all very helpful with regards to trams etc
Basel card rode the trams
Tram 14 can go all the way to outskirts Germany
Tram 11 to France
Tram 8
River cruise 30 Swiss franc with card for two
The Coop walking distance from hotel

My experience is getting worse every stay
I somehow feel that it’s decreasing in quality. I get into a room and there is hair on bed, just a little bit of toilet paper that required change and one spare one, which was not even fixed the next day, cleaners actually removing towels instead of giving new ones, and the bottle of soap in the shower was empty and not refilled in 3 days, I had to go and ask the reception myself. This is not the type of experience I expect for such money.

Unexpectedly fantastic
We ended up at the Dorint in Basel on accident, after a missed train. We were greeted warmly up arrival, made our accommodations and had a wonderful stay. The staff was exceptional, the food was terrific and the hotel was spotless with every amenity that you could want

Very clean and very friendly
The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast has a good selection. I missed two or three details in the room's amenities. Price for the room is rather high. But otherwise, everything is top-notch.
