I like a simple, somewhat spartan room. My bed was comfortable and I could recharge my phone and fitbit. Shared bathrooms are not for everybody but they provided a nice robe for trips to and from and the showers were fine. Had fun with the staff at breakfast.

Well-kept food for the 80th. Birthday
In the library of the former Capuchin monastery we have the 80th anniversary of the Celebrated with dignity. After the colorful leaf salad on the monastery dressing, we enjoyed the fillet of free-range coleslaw with herbal cream sauce, served with homemade spaetzli and seasonal vegetables. The whole thing was finished with a chocolate mousse with marinated seasonal fruits and coffee. The table decoration liked to please. The service was attentive and speditious. Visiting the monastery garden in fine weather loosened the course of the afternoon for young and old.

Amazing stay for Eurovision 2025
This hotel is an absolute gem, 1 minute walk from the Dornach station. I loved the spacious room and an amazing garden where we spent mornings after breakfast drinking coffee and getting some sunlight on the deckchairs. We were a bit afraid of the shared bathrooms, but it was absolutely fine, hardly anyone ever there and they were very clean. I loved how attentive and helpful Aneta was. Thank you for the takeaway breakfast with a lovely note Aneta!

The location is 10-12 minutes by public transport from the center, the stop is a few minutes from the hotel. Showers and toilets are shared, but quite clean and were almost always free. Cleaning is offered every day, change of towels is included. There is a bathrobe in the room. Light breakfast was a pleasant addition and included cheese and cold meats, croissants and freshly baked still warm bread, boiled eggs, honey and Nutella, cereals and muesli, fruit salad, as well as a selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate, juices, smoothie, milk.
