This is a nice property in a beautiful location. The rooms are simple, but comfortable. I really loved that breakfast was served on the innkeeper’s handmade plates and bowls. She has a gallery where you can buy her pottery.

Unacceptably unfriendly

My clear recommendation comes first: Please do not go. The host is unfriendly to an amazing extent, and I cannot believe she can create a welcoming atmosphere.
Here is the thing: She offers her yard as a commercial parking lot for pay. When we stayed overnight, she hyperaggressively treated us like criminals the next morning when she came round. There was no indication or no sign whatsoever that no overnight stay was wanted. Instead, the amount to be paid was clearly stated, and one also has to register the licence plate. Were it just her ground, her behavior would have been perfectly understandable. In the light of the fact that she offers her land for pay, however, her behaviour has been completely unacceptable. You can't have your cake and eat it.

You drove your camper van across our field and camped in the middle of our crops. So, yes we did get upset with you, most farms would. A paid parking fee is not the same as "smash our field and camp for however long you please". BTW destroying crops is a felony and you should be grateful that we did not procedure you for damages.

Stunning backyard comfortable room

Revisited Österlen this summer. Last time we were here was ten years ago with small children. The lavender lined garden felt at once very welcoming and calming, as did our lovely hostess. Looking forward to a quiet night and breakfast in the yard in the morning.

Pretty & well situated

A pleasant and very tastefully renovated modern guesthouse situated just outside Stenshuvud national park.
We rented a flat with a small bedroom and a bed sofa in the sitting room, which worked fine for four people. A nice detail is that there was coffee and tea in the flat.
The price is moderate and the location is brilliantly out of the way.
