Homely as always.

Hotel Emma was as usual nice with comfortable beds and a generally good experience.
Something that unfortunately pulls down the grade a bit is the breakfast that moved out of the hotel to the nearby cafe. It felt cramped and not as genuine as before when you had breakfast at the hotel but it may only be temporary.

Dull breakfast experience

We have stayed at Hotel Emma in Östersund several times. But we were a little disappointed this time. We were told quite late, that breakfast would be served at a pastry shop nearby. An important reason why we wanted to stay at Hotel Emma was the breakfast, a local breakfast with fantastic elements. This time it was more mediocre, in addition, it was quite crowded inside the pastry shop. It was not clear what the reason for this change was, but we are guessing that it was a staff shortage. Otherwise it was nice and good as usual.

Small charming and cozy in the middle of town

Hotell Emma has cosy rooms with comfortable beds and good duvets and fluffy pillows. Located centrally in town right on the pedestrian street and all restaurants and pubs/bars. The delicious breakfast is included and served at Wedmarks patisserie right next door. We stayed in room 44 and it was big and spacious! Very nice and good hotel at a good price. Easy to check in even if reception closes at 18.

The room was very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the free breakfast at the cafe across the street that’s associated with the hotel. There’s plenty of really nice shops and restaurants all around the hotel. Excellent place for walks in town or down by the lake. Absolutely loved my stay.
