Classic hotel now renewed!

Very nice hotel in central Linköping. Classic hotel currently being updated. Quiet rooms although the hotel is centrally located.
Very good breakfast in a renewed and nice dining room. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is located in heart of Linköping. Close to everything.
Breakfast is fantastic like in all Elite hotels.
Coming with car is a bit tricky though.

Could be better

The staff seemed distracted. Scrambled eggs and bacon out even though it was over 1 hour until breakfast would close. Someone has totally missed the interior of an otherwise fantastic building. Flashing fluorescent lights in the bathroom. When something is called Elite you automatically get a little higher expectations and there was something very wrong.

The location was amazing and the breakfast that was included was very good.
We were in an older room so we understand that they needed renovation, but the construction during a week day started very early. Overall a great stay!

Stay for two nights

Not what you would expect for the price. Poor sound insulation if you have room out towards the square so you heard the party. Should have thought about when we booked though. Skral breakfast, AC didn't work. The sofa bed beneath all the criticism. Had to change rooms so they solved the problem but it's also mikeigt to have to change rooms. Expect with when it costs 1800kr / night.
