The Downtown Camper was an excellent hotel in so many ways. It is a few minutes walk from the Central Station for trains and close to the Tunnelbanna (metro). It is an enjoyable stroll along the water to various tourist destinations (museums, parks, shops etc). The hotel itself is camping themed -very clean with an excellent breakfast buffet. The Grill provides excellent dinners -we ended up eating there twice as the food was so good. There is a rooftop bar with an excellent view in addition to the ground floor bar all of which provide a chilled atmosphere and excellent drinks. There's a fire pit in the middle of the ground floor bar and restaurant where you can roast marshmallows. We didn't visit the spa or pool but only because we ran out of time. Our room was huge and comfortable. The only negative thing I have to say is that our room overlooked a central square with a fountain and occasionally it was a bit loud, but this may not be the case on other sides of the building or floors (we were floor 2). Despite that, we would definitely stay again.

Hands down this is one of the best hotels I've stayed at. It felt like more than just a hotel. It was beautiful to have the selection of activities that they offered. Also their sauna Nest and rooftop heated pool were a great plus!

Lovely hotel, breakfast and location.

Perfect stay for our honeymoon. Location is prime. People where amazing. Breakfast is just incredible.
If you.have the budget and don't care much for big spacious rooms, then this is the place to go.

Not for me

Stylish central hotel, but rooms very dark, no shelves or drawers for clothes (just a few hangers and hooks), luggage room not fully managed and charging extra to use gym/pool/sauna. More greenwash than usual - apparently reduced room cleaning was to save the planet rather than to reduce staffing/boost profit.

The hotel lost power at approx 0830 and was not restored till almost 0230 the next day. It was a tremendous inconvience for a trip with only a couple days to see the city. Having to climb 6 stories in the dark to get to your room was not acceptable. Apparently, they didn't see it fit try to accomodate guests at other place.
