Kruger on a shoestring!

Can't speak highly enough of this hostel.
As well as being cheaper than many of the campsites inside the park, it is clean, comfortable, fully equipped and you still get the full experience of what it's like to stay inside the park.
The owners are very helpful, friendly and, as safari veterans, extremely knowledgable on the local wildlife and where to find it.
From the hostel it takes around 15 minutes to get to the nearest Kruger gate (crocodile bridge) and immediately you are in the best area of the reserve to see wildlife.
Alternatively you can stay within the Marloth park and have a walk round the edge, looking into Kruger and still have a good chance of spotting the big 5 as well as having some great close up interactions with the grazers found in Marloth.
We had a super cheap and luxorious stay at Kruger Inn and saw a lot more wild life this time round than when we splashed out on staying inside the reserve last year.

What a fantastic stay and great people!

When my brother booked this place he told me few good things about it. Then we arrived, got a beautiful room and met our hosts, Allyson and Cor. This couple did everything to our stay to make it most perfect experience. Also this place and it's ambiance was perfect: on the first evening two giraffes just strolled slowly by us while on the second we've heard that fantastic roar of the local lion Fluffy. On the first night we had great braai with hosts, while on second Cor made his roasted pork, that could be served anywhere.
We are world's travellers and quite picky but we cannot say anything that would downsize our experience with this place.

Amazing stay !

We had a wonderful time at the Kruger Inn Backpackers : warm welcome, very cosy, confortable, we felt at home ! The Safari with Cole was really amazing, with all his knowledge about this animals and the park.
We highly recommend staying there !!

Lovely jungle themed hostel

Spent 3 lovely days here. Hosts Alison and Col were so welcoming and kind. Had lovely bbq nights and Col's no masala bbq and dinner was so delicious.It was so nice meeting your campervan relatives who were super fun.. I just hope to be back soon.. Cheerios!!

Loved, loved, loved it!

Very nice, cozy and clean. The couple who run it were really helpful and fun. We really enjoyed our stay. Location is perfect, the national park is like a 20 min ride away. You can also spot the animals from the premises, although we didnt.
