Just as it must be!!!
The Trail’s End inspired us from the start: we were personally welcomed by the boss, “hunted” on the first trail and then spoiled by a fine dinner! The sporting possibilities are simply sensational, the kitchen also (small but very fine!). And the staff also deserve at least 5 stars!!!

Restaurant food was superb. Rooms comfortable and clean.

We could not have asked for more
This bike hotel, even though I have never experienced any other, is everything one could ask for. Clear communication before arrival. Pristine accommodation. I had been before with a few girlfriends when we shared a room and this time it was myself and my husband.
Great coffee, no matter what time of the morning, friendly smiles all around. A substantial breakfast to fuel us for the day.
But then. The MTB trails. These need special, special mention. A day is not enough to ride these incredibly well looked-after rides. There is something for every rider’s skill. The hotel also offers laundry, bike-wash and special mention needs to go to the chefs who prepare portions worthy of top-cyclists. A gym on-site offers various classes, and I’m sorry I opted for the beautiful local wine list when I could have been participating in Pilates.
We also rode the Oak Valley trails which are easily acessesed and payable fron here.
Do not miss the Bike Museum!
We will return again and again, because this place is a happy space for everyone MTB - inclined.

The staff was the sweetest! They really took care of us. Nice rooms, fun tracks to go with bike, lots of space for the kids, overall we had a great time !

Best place in Grabouw!
We absolutely loved our stay at Trails End. The cottage was clean, quiet, well stocked, and we loved drinking coffee on the porch in the morning and being outside in nature. The breakfasts were perfect before a day of activities and our meals at lunch and dinner were great too. The staff was always willing to help and we were greeted with a smile from everyone. There are endless trails, that are well marked, right out the door. We loved all the rides and runs we did there and hope to come back. There was lots to do for individuals and familes and we also enjoyed the library and just sitting around reading. It was a great value for the money and we hope to make it back again soon. Thank you Pieter, Brenda, and the full Trails End staff.
