River Bend ottage - Graaf Reinet

Excellent and cahrming. Very friendly staff and owner. Staff was very accommodating of my needs for a double bed and bigger space to do my work. I got a huge cottage all to myself.

The conference weekend

This was one of my great me time moments I was enjoying the company of the monkeys and my alone time if you need to refresh your mind or have a work related time this is the best place to stay .

Don't just stay one night!

I would easily and eagerly recommend Riverbend Cottages to any travellers staying in Graaff-Reinet. The only thing I would've wanted differently during my stay - an extra night or two! Don't just stop over, spend some time in this lovely town!

An absolutely perfect stay – exceeded all expectations!

We travelled with my husband and stayed for just one night, and honestly, we were so sad it was only one night. The place felt incredibly cozy, peaceful, and full of warmth from the very first moment. Even though we arrived quite late and were very tired and hungry, the hostess kindly welcomed us and took the time to recommend a restaurant nearby where we could still have dinner. It was such a thoughtful and caring gesture, and the food there was absolutely delicious.
The house itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. You can really feel how much care and love has been put into every detail. The garden is especially lovely — green, tidy, and very relaxing to walk through. The whole territory is well-kept and creates a calm, welcoming atmosphere.
We truly felt at home here and wished we could stay longer. This place has a very special charm, and the hospitality made our stay unforgettable. We would absolutely love to come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and heartfelt place to stay.
