Home away from home

That's written on the house wall and describes it so well! Our room was perfect, comfortable big bed, windows and our own bathroom. Silva and his wife are lovely people who will care about you. There is a comfortable terase where you will enjoy the homemade food and just hang out, listening to music, read or talk. Also the location is perfect and you can rent scooters if you want to. We are very thankful for the wonderful time there, we enjoyed it so much and hopefully we will visit them again!

Disappointing Experience

We had booked a room on Booking.com and got an booking-approval by mail. When we arrived we were told that there was no room available and they tried to give us a dirty room at their neighbors place. They weren’t helpful or friendly at all in this situation. We had lost one day of our vacation due to their mistake.

Thank you for your feedback and we are not really happy about with your concern as you both stayed with us one night already, and it all went well otherwise you won't be back to stay with us again.
so we think we had a good time hosting you and you had a good time staying here also.
the day you checkout we already inform you the next few days we don't have rooms available even though you wants to stay with us we kindly informed you that sir...
thus we sent you an e-mail for as a responded that we don't have available rooms today even if it shows you there are available rooms on with booking.com ..
i think its a big misunderstanding here otherwise we don't have to do alternatives like suggesting other guest houses.
usually we want to accommodate everyone and give a best time of their Holiday with the enough rooms we have yet.

Best hosts ever

We have been there for three nights and it was a wonderful time. The hosting family was the kindest one i‘ve ever met. They showed us the city, accompanied our several tours and introduced us in a typical Sri Lankan game (which escalated into a game night).
Also the rooms were very clean and our laundry smelled like heaven.
I will definitely visit them again.

Amazing experience!!!

Visiting from Los Angeles with my wife and two kids and had absolutely unbelievable hospitality from the Silva family .. They ‘ll always go extra mile for you to make your stay more comfortable.. Rooms were clean and bathrooms were excellent.. Beach and shopping were very close by ..we ll definitely stay there again .. Thanks again !!!

Great Stay

Had a great stay here with this lovely family. They were interested in us and cared for whatever we needed. The room was fine, comfortable bed, clean bathroom.
The breakfast was a highlight! Filling and delicious.
Recommend it for sure. Only reason I didn’t give five stars was due to a few maintain issues. It is Sri Lanka though after all.
