Wonderful place! Like paradise

It was our first visit to Sri Lanka and the first place we reached was Villa Butterfly. We spent one week there; the owners are very kind and helpful, the rooms very big and clean, with balcony and a nice roof top Terrasse! The breakfast (western) very tasty with lots of fresh fruits, bread, eggs and more. The Beach (only 2-3 min Walk) is Perfect for sunbathing and swim; on our trip we didn’t found a better spot to enjoy a whole day on the beach; you can use the private beach of the Hotel Ypsilon, where they offer also Ayurvedic treatments.
With a scooter, that you can rent nearby at Ashok (couple of min by walk) you can reach Bentota, aluthgama and visit some nice spots in the area. It was a wonderful stay and we really can recommend to everyone, that seeks a nice beach spot and wonderful hosts!!

Breakfast with cigarettes!

Clean if unspectacular but German owners unhelpful and bolshie. They live here and smoke whilst I am having breakfast!! Today I asked to put the table outside but they would not do it. If I had not pre paid I would have left after my first night. When I arrived they told me they were full and although they had the money from the booking agent they were not expecting me. There is only one other guest! My advice, find somewhere else! No other meals are provided except breakfast there is not refrigerator in the room but it has AC.

Nice and friendly family

I was in Villa Butterfly 15-22 th of April. Room was big like in the pictures on booking.com, big, clean, hot water, nice balcony. Family was very nice and friendly with me!!! I was talking meals and swimming in the Yepsylon. Very beautiful place which I can really recommend. If I have chance I will came back again.

Yeeesssss!!!

Perfect.
It's a family B&B where the owner's are very friendly.
The room is big, very nice and cleaned every morning.
The breakfast is good but the dinner is fantastic, every day something of special.
Thanks very much.

Nette Besitzer und sehr saubere Zimmer

Die Besitzer (deutsche) sind sehr nett, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war super und total sauber. Das Frühstück war lecker und frisch. Die Besitzer haben uns gute tipps für Restaurants und für die Reise gegeben.
Wir können die Unterkunft nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen :)
