Good price quality ratio

We stayed here during our tour of Sri Lanka. The hotel is in the process of expanding/renovating and therefore some construction sounds can be heard occasionally. After 6 pm there was no more work so we did not suffer from it. The staff were super friendly and helpful.
The room was clean, spacious and all the essentials were provided.
Breakfast was served on the top floor from where you had a spectacular view.
The hotel is an ideal base from which to explore Ella's surroundings.

Very nice place with friendly staff, beautiful mountains views, cute rooms and delicious food. Thanks a lot, will be glad to return

A construction site

Visited this hotel as part of a tour around Sri Lanka and was extremely disappointed. The whole hotel is a construction site and is not fit for anyone to stay in! There was rubble and dirt everywhere, including in the rooms, leaving everywhere filthy and dirty. Towels were also dirty. We couldn't wait to check out!

Choose another hotel

Checked in for 1 night. The room is dated and mismatched furniture. Curtain rail falling down. Plugs are a combination of old round pins and more recent 3 pin plugs but couple of plug points seemed to have burnt out. Therefore only a couple of serviceable plug points. Leaking toilet and shower water not draining away. Major issue is the very mouldy bathroom which is a health hazard. Would not recommend this hotel.

Not recommended

Nothing is good here except good view of sunrise and scenic views from balcony. Food is limited and very few options. Only 3 people managing whole hotel from cooking cleaning and front desk. Same people cleaning bathroom and cooking as well. Everything is broken in the room and choked bathroom sinks. Not recommend.
