Heaven on Earth

We booked four nights and ended up extending our stay by one more! Raja and Thiru, under the guidance of Ravi, took wonderful care of our comfort, and Tharanga’s meals were excellent.
We went on a few easy, enjoyable walks and loved every minute of our stay.
Walks we did:
1. Devil’s Staircase loop in Udaweriya
2. Adisham to Blackwood
3. Shortcut from Kelburne to town
4. Kelburne to Lake Richmond

Love to go again!

We stayed here from 13th to 15th November and had a great experience. The place was beautiful with breathtaking views, and the rooms were clean and well maintained. Perfect weather and calm & quiet area. The food and desserts were amazing.
The sunset and sunrise were unforgettable. The staff were very welcoming, kind, and helpful from the moment we arrived. I also like the fact that one of the staff members mentioned that we can see few other provinces from where we were.
As a small suggestion, adding some entertainment options like card games or a pool table (especially for kids) would be a nice touch, if not already available.
Overall, I would highly recommend this place and would love to visit again.

We were staying in the cottage Aerie where we were as at home.

Beautiful place. In the middle of tea crops.
A place conducive to relaxation surrounded by discreet staff but so warm and especially welcoming and helpful.

Superb!

Ravi our host was absolutely incredible as were all of the staff. The chef created some outstanding meals for us, western, Sri Lankan and Chinese which we enjoyed immensely. There was lots of choice for location to dine but the weather was very windy so we were mostly served on our bungalow both inside the room and on the spacious balcony.
The location is incredible, situated in the middle of a tea estate with beautiful views across the whole of south Sri Lanka. Terraces provide great photo opportunities and bungalows are very spacious and well separated for privacy.
Lipton’s seat is a 40 min drive and we trekked down 6km to the tea factory.
I honestly can’t recommend Kelburne highly enough! Thank you again to Ravi and the team

Great place to stay with amazing staff!!

We stayed two nights here and we had a great time!!! There are lots of easily accessible sites such as Lipton’s Seat and Horton Plains that you can travel to! The staff are really great, and made our stay really special. Finally, the food we had was incredible, especially the two Sri Lankan dinners which were great! Would 100% recommend!!!
