Amazing stay

Upon arriving the host greeted us so warmly. We had everything needed for our 3 night stay. When we could not make breakfast for 2 mornings he gave us 10 000 rupee discount unprompted, which we gave him back later. The breakfast was delicious and very large portions. Great host, friendly and clearly wanted his guests to enjoy their stay. I would stay again

Great stay. Super host!

We stayed here with two other couples 16th & 17th January. Rooms are spacious with ensuite. Very clean. The host, Obey, could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was varied, plentiful and delicious. Easy walk into Ella.
Enjoyed our stay.
Jealous of Obey's Vespa! Top man!

Nice boutique hotel within walking distance of Ella.

During our stay Esala Perahera was celebrated. A special festival, which touches the whole city. A unique experience!
The hotel is located in the center of Ella. The operator does its best to receive and provide information to each customer personally. The rooms are spacious and tidy. Breakfast is served outside, is very extensive and tasty!
Because of the festival there was a lot of noise in the streets all day, but after 12:30 everything was quiet and quiet.

Clean comfortable rooms. At a reasonable price.Top healthy breakfast and helpful honest kind staff.....what more could you want

Arrived late evening and were greeted by the staff who took our bags into a clean, very comfortable and modern bed room with a super king and single bed. There is also a balcony to sit out in the sun off every room.
This guest house is off a main street in a quiet area 150metres off the main street in Ella.
Breakfast the next few mornings was plentiful and cooked to a very high standard.
Reasonably priced with great staff, room and food.
Thank you everyone at Ella Moon rock, for making our stay so enjoyable

Great location, superb owner, lovely breakfast. Highly recommend

Family of 5, 2 adults 3 kids booked 2 rooms.
A wonderful welcome from Obey and his team, we arrived early, and were able to leave our bags whilst we set out to explore.
The team were great with children, even playing a mini round of cricket in the yard whilst we checked in and sorted our self out for the evening.
The rooms were clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was extensive. Omelette, sausages, pancakes, hoppers, fruits and fresh juice.
The location is perfect for exploring the iconic Little Adams Peak and Nine Arches Bridge both a short scenic walk away.
Being on a tour with a long drive ahead to our next stop the kind owner Obey prepared snacks and refreshments for journey.
We would definitely recommend staying here especially if exploring the local sites.
Also on site, Obey has a superb laundry facility. The best in Ella, if you need to freshen up your clothes before the next leg of your trip.
