Great location, lovely staff
My sister and I visited this hotel 25-29th August and stayed in room 525. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially about how to travel on the MRT. The room was clean and ok, we were there to shop so this was not our priority. The pool and gym were all really good, opening at 6.30 am for adults to use as the pool was very popular with families during the rest of the day, after breakfast. The breakfast was extensive though the coffee was very bitter, in our opinion. It was a bit chaotic at breakfast, due to the odd shape of the room and where food was laid out. We particularly liked the porridge but there was not a lot to put in it, such as berries or dried fruit. The worst thing about the Paradox was the lifts! They took ages to arrive, randomly took us to the 12th floor on multiple occasions and refused to stop on our floor, despite us pressing the right floor and the light coming on. Very frustrating and time wasting. The best thing about this hotel though, is its location on Clarke Quay. There were a huge number of bars and restaurants and all situated on/around the river and new bridge area. There was live music every night and boat trips in the evening light. It was the reason we will definitely be back. The proximity to the MRT (underground) was also brilliant and meant we were able to travel quickly and cheaply across Singapore City.

A nice relaxing getaway
Amazing location the rooms were great and absolutely fantastic package with happy hour and breaky included !A1 stay with an amazing pool !! Highly recommended:)

A great Experience
We stayed at the Paradox Hotel from 28th August to 31st August and our stay was most enjoyable. We had booed and Executive room which included some additional perks such as Free happy Hours from 5pm to 8pm each day. There was a good range of drinks including spirits, Champagne & wine. The select of canapes was also of a high standard. Full buffet breakfast was also included as was a high tea which we didn't take part of mainly due to being out sight-seeing.
The room was large and very comfortable with plenty of storage; bathroom was also quite large and well stocked with toiletries. Only minor fault was lack of towel rails.
Room was very clean with minimal noise heard .
The reception staff were very helpful as we arrived early in the morning, and they were able to accommodate us for an early check which was very much appreciated after a long flight from Europe.
Location was very central with a MRT basically across the road under the Central shopping plaza.
Unable to comment on pool & gym as were not used.
Would book again on our next visit to Singapore

Happy 61st bday SG!!
My sister and I had the pleasure of staying at the Paradox Singpore. The stay was for pure relax and indulge to break up the trip back to Australia. And we were absolutely caught up in the 61st SG birthday celebrations too. From hello to goodbye, across the entire hotel, the staff were A-mazing. From perfect buckets of happiness (beers) and snackies spent poolside from Blue Potato. Helpful reception & concierge assisting tired travellers upon an early morning arrival and directions to shopping malls. Wonderful smiles in the Crossroad bar when lounging with a cocktail or two with a little bite if you wanted to. Maintenance and cleaning staff readily available, even though we didnt see them often, we came back to clean rooms when requested. And waking up knowing we had another super start for breakfast at the Ellensborough Cafe. The staff making sure you promptly found a table, like a well oiled machine. And the range of food took my breath away. Where to go to first was my biggest decision. The varying asian inspired bowls the chefs made on demand - yummo. Your hotel was perfectly located. We hope to be in a position to revisit your wonderful establishment again soon !!

In a great area, close to hops and Chinatown. Hotel is well maintained, clean, large rooms and efficient, friendly staff.
