Perfect location + Wonderful Service

I arrived at Hotel Ganale from the airport late. The check in desk was open and they whisked me up to my room - not the regular room I had booked, but a suite, self-contained on the roof of the hotel It was so cool. I had a wonderful living room area, with great seating and a big desk. It was quite lovely. I had TV, AC, WiFi, hot water, and even a bathtub. Outside my room I had a private roof top patio with a table and chairs. (I didn't actually use the outside area as it was too hot, but I loved having the option.
The location is great. Walking distance to everything you could want to see (markets, mosques, museums, the ferry terminal, he covid testing centre, etc). Tons of cafes and restaurants close by, as well as the Institut Français, which has a welcome shady restaurant and an outdoor concert stage.
Breakfast was included and was excellent with local and European offerings.
The staff were so kind and helpful.
I don't know how often this happens, but the last night I was there, there was live jazz in the restaurant connected to the hotel. It was great.
I would without hesitation recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.

Clean but very poorly soundproofed rooms, basic, where everything is rationed: half a roll of poor quality toilet paper, a soap and a mini bottle of shower product, no bottle of water, no fridge, no kettle, coffee or tea etc.

Pleasant hotel in downtown Dakar with a Senegale ambience

I spent three nights in this every pleasant hotel. It is a very well-run hotel, with excellent service and very kind and helpful staff. My room was relatively small but very comfortable and well equipped. Everything is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The hotel offers a very nice Senegalese atmosphere.
The location is excellent, and close to everywhere of interest in downtown Dakar.
There is also a pleasant restaurant and bar.

Good hotel in the centre

I spent here a couple of nights while I participate at a group tour starting from Dakar.
The hotel is in the centre of Dakar and there is a restaurant where they serve also the breakfast.
The hotel is not big and the service is quite good.

First time in Africa

For me the hotel was ok im not a big hotel person just a place to sleep for me..what i liked was the staff ..I was greeted by staff immediately upon my arrival by taxi ..they took charge of my arrival as the driver was playing games..after a brief intervention i was told to pay price staff instructed i see this left the driver in a angered state ..my compliments to receptionists George who was phenomenal to me also to bellman u diedhiou who constantly went far and above often walking me to various places to ensure proper treatment also to security officer saliou ..constantly on point and ever watching out for guest ..these employess made things a lot more favorable for my first time in Sengal
