A living story...

You cannot have a better choice in Sovata, but Szeifert hotel. A welcoming, lovely, cosy and peaceful place, with a flavour of elegance and common sense, close to nature. As for the staff - the best possible, nice, helpful, finding solutions, pleasing everyone. Great restaurant offer, good rooms. We had our accomodation in B building, 2nd floor, facing woods, but if you want to be closer to the restaurant, choose A building. Koszonom szepen!

An air conditioning parameter that changes everything

The architecture of the hotel as well as the terrace overlooking the lake are really superb. The staff is quite nice but only a few people speak English. Attention, not all rooms are equipped with air conditioning, especially ours during our stay. With the heat, you can’t get some fresh air and sleep. We left the hotel more tired than when we arrived...

A great dinner here!

Totally awesome. We looked for an opportunity for a meal. Many establishments indicated that they were 'full'. I remembered a contact with my friend Engi Albert and thought, this must work out. Fortunately, we were still able to enjoy a great dinner here.

Restaurant review - nothing on the hotel we only stopped for lunch.

As mentioned in the title we only stopped here for lunch - we were not guests of the hotel.
So here are the thoughts about the restaurant and food.
Location - near the "Black Lake " in Sovata - can be seen from the terrace, with a good seating capacity on the terrace - a very nice spot.
Service - very fast and very helpful waitress , nothing to complain ...
Food - a good selection - we got Gulyas soup and Fried trout - fried in corn flour - both very tasty and generous portions - the trout was a little too dry - but hey when its fried it's hard to catch the right point to take it out of the frying pan.
Still very good food, nothing to complain.
Prices - pocket friendly - a very good price to quality ratio. And they take credit card - tips you can only do cash.
Overall - I have no clue how is the hotel - but I can tell you the food is very good. When in the area you can try it.

Nice hotel but overpriced

The hotel is beautiful, modern and mostly clean, it gives off the vibe of new, the staff was OK, professional, but we have some inconveniences.
-First we payed extra for lake view but it's not spectacular, not really worth it.
-We only had breakfast here, which was good, but too expensive for what they offer.
-Although the place looks clean, the bathtub wasn't clean. The soap dispenser didn't work.
-It was a bit of a surprise that they don't offer slippers or hygiene products, but maybe that's why they only have 3 stars.
