Stay away from Urban Paradise!

The property is advertised as “the apartment”, but in no description it is mentioned the fact that this is a building with many rooms to rent. Very misleading property. Some units have a kitchen and a balcony, while most of the units don’t have any of that. The Junior Suite I ended up with is basically a room with a bathroom (a hole in a wall). The room was missing basic toiletries, kitchenware, kitchen facilities were not existent (you can’t put a kettle in a closet and call it “kitchen facilities”), worn out and chipped furniture, broken hairdryer, water temperature kept fluctuating from very hot to very cold making it impossible to take a decent shower. The fire alarm goes on and off in the middle of the night. The walls are so thin that I could always hear the neighbors talk, walk and basically every sound around the room. There was no bottled water and I got 1 coffee sachet for a 3 night stay. I complained to the property manager, but I got no help and I was told that I can leave the property, but I won’t get a refund. My stay was awful. I do not recommend this property to anyone.

Refund Never Received After Free Cancellation

I booked a room with free cancellation and cancelled within the allowed period due to personal reasons.
The company charged my card immediately but, months later, I still have not received my refund. They keep giving vague answers and have now stopped responding altogether.
Very unprofessional and dishonest treatment of customers. Be careful before booking with this company.

Worst stay in Bucharest

Absolutely no insulation in the walls, you hear people, doors, lift... Impossible to sleep because tourists go in and out all night long. The room is outdated, no fridge, tea cups, no plates, etc... No toilet paper, no cleaning, no soap... Description on the website is inaccurate. No possibility to change the room (with availability online) unless you pay property directly via link through email. Meaning, they are avoiding to pay any booking.com fees. The room is dirty, bed is very uncomfortable and old. And as a bonus: no water at all some days, smoke alarm activation at nights while host is not responding. Basically the worst stay I had in Bucharest so far.
